My husband and I had some engraving work that was extremely important to our business and future…read moreprofitability. We called around and spoke with numerous engravers in the DFW area. Most conversations went about the same and some even frustrated us. Then we called Custom Laser Engravers... Stephanie took the time to understand what we needed, including what we wanted the end result to look like. She asked questions, including what the items I wanted engraved are made of, instead of making an assumption, like the others we spoke with did. She told me they have more than one engraving machine and multiple techniques they can use to get different desired results. Before knowing they were getting our business, they helped us set up the artwork and gave us advice on how to achieve the look we wanted. Best of all, she was able to speak in layman's terms so I could easily understand her. Her extra time and attention resulted in our making a change in our plan, necessary to achieve the result we wanted. She was 1,000% more friendly and knowledgeable with what she could do on each item, based on the materials (instead of the item names), than her competition. She was able to tell me how quickly the job would be done (faster than her competition!!), and exactly what it would cost. Overall, Custom Laser Engravers was professional, honest, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable, and they did an outstanding job on our engraving! We are now customers for life! UPDATE: We are now repeat customers and still VERY happy with both the service and end result of items engraved.

This is a very cool story that proves that it just makes so much sense to be honest and kind to…read moreyour customers... My daughter and I found ourselves at a business meeting at Marriott Hotel in downtown Dallas and she asked me to help her with fixing two of her bracelets. I took them from her, went to the front desk to grab an envelope to take them with me securely. The hotel front desk lady saw the bracelets and asked if I had a problem and recommended that I take them to the nearby Plaza Fine Jewelry store. Once at the store, I met the sweetest people you can find. They opened and worked at this store for over 40 years. The owner looked at the bracelets and in a matter of minutes fixed them. He refused payment for fixing one of them because it was just "not that big of a deal". While waiting, I was chatting with these folks, and they shared their life story, and I shared mine. It was a very nice, warm, and cordial experience. To kill some of the time I was asking questions about some of the pieces, and it turns out that a lot of them are handmade at the store and therefore unique. Then I moved to check the watches they sell and because I felt so good about my experience I went ahead and bought a Rolex for my wife. This is how business should be conducted. Because this team is proud of what they do, are very good, kind, unassuming, nice, and simple, something that was a quick bracelet repair translated in a sale of an expensive piece. I strongly recommend this place and will definitely stop by next time I am in Dallas.
