Love my color and hair style by Arnaud. It was fate that took me to this amazing salon since Ginger was raving about him, so I have to say thank you darling. I loved my experience in the Penthouse, enjoyed some amazing mint tea and his sense of style and aesthetics to design. Wait till you see this modern hip salon with mid-century furniture which he designed. He cuts your hair dry which is refreshing, so now I feel younger and sexy! Wow! Also he uses natural colors no chemicals which makes my hair shine and glow! He is highly professional with many years of experience, passionate about his work and great personality. Another added plus is that the salon is Downtown LA a block from my loft. read more

I met Arnaud Ozharun through a friend 2 years ago and he is the only person who has been cutting my hair since then. Getting my hair done is always a great and relaxing experience and Arnaud is surrounded by a super friendly, warm and highly qualified team. He always does a great job coloring and cutting my hair in a way that is going to be very easy for me to maintain. The organic products, shampoos and conditioners he uses, smell wonderfully good. I have a lot of gray hair and for some reason I always thought that natural hair coloring products would not cover my gray hair very well. Well, I must say I was wrong and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It also feels pretty good to know that the products used are chemical free, totally safe for myself and for the environment! read more

Arnaud is a hair guru! I've gotten my haircut by him at least 3 times now, and have always loved what he's done with my thick, wavy locks. He likes to start cutting hair while it's still dry (the shampoo comes after). What I like most is that he will pay close attention to your face shape and hair wave patterns to give you a haircut that will best accentuate your features, and be easy to maintain. I'm honestly surprised that he doesn't charge more for his haircuts - they're that good. As far as the studio goes, it's located on the top floor of a loft building, so make sure you know exactly where you are going since there are no signs outside indicating where it is. And although you will most likely pay for parking (it's Downtown, after all), the receptionist will discount the cost from the total at the end of your visit. So considerate! The last time I was at the studio, Arnaud mentioned that he is approaching his 50th year of working as a hair stylist, and that he still loves every minute of it. His work definitely reflects his passion! The man knows what he's doing. Rest assured that your hair will be in good hands when you come here. read more

Arnaud is amazing when it comes to hair! I am so in love with my new color. I came in for color and it exceeded my expectations. I went from a brownish red to the most beautiful blonde I have ever seen. He is magic with hair! I couldn't stop smiling from the moment I saw my new color. I'm a true Cali blonde now! The location is also very posh and hip. The art and decor is very cool. The staff is welcoming, friendly and very chic. I am so happy I found this salon, I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Thank you so much for my gorgeous Goldie locks. read more

Headscape Hair Studio - My Goldie locks - Hair Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Let me just start with Arnaud is a hair genius. In fact, that is how I have his number saved in my phone. He has been lovingly trimming my locks for a couple of years now, and I cannot imagine going to anyone else. It is so rare to find someone that has the vision and ability to transform my hair shape so effortlessly and naturally. I never have to supply reference, or explain what I want. He just squints, takes in my regrowth and goes to work. He is friendly, passionate, hardworking, and extremely talented and his new studio downtown is beautiful. YAY! read more

Arnaud is the best hair dresser in Los Angeles. The studio is beautifully decorated with an amazing view of DTLA and a lot of art.The atmosphere is very relaxed adn the staff is very nice. Arnaud was already taking care of my hair style back in France. I am so happy to be able to see him again in LA. To me Arnaud is an artist and to go to his studio is a beautiful experience overall. Headscape Hair Studio is the absolute best. The owner, Arnaud is an artistic, caring, talented hair genius. He has unbelievable instinct, experience all over the world, and serious skills-- trust him to make your hair positively the best your hair can be. He will always ask what you like, however I always say just "make me beautiful, please!" I have been to top salons in LA, San Francisco, and Boston, and Headscape stands out. I have been going for about 3 years, and have seen other hairdressers in between because of travel, however, I said after my last visit, no one else will now ever cut my hair again! Only Arnaud. Arnaud cuts my mom's hair too for 3 years now, also my uncle, my grandmother, and my sister! My whole family:) We first met him in the beautiful Silver Lake salon and now, see him in his STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS BREATHTAKING studio space downtown. The view, the design and attention to detail, the art, the books, the tea, and cookies-- a totally calm, zen, hip, luxurious atmosphere. Jean-Francois is also wonderful-- so professional and sweet and very talented. He did a toner for me (and sectioned it because only the back was brassy), and then he did a gentle "bleach-shampoo" and painted it on the front of my hair for some soft, natural, highlights. Then he then did the MOST WONDERFUL hair conditioning treatment. My hair was incredibly dry and brittle before and after the treatment my hair felt like new hair! Soft and shiny again. He did a truly excellent job with the color. Total change with no damage. It was a hair miracle! Eloisa is also very kind and professional. Always pleasant during administrative interactions and gives great insight. They also use natural products and are very conscious of the health and integrity of your hair. It's amazing, try Headscape Studio and you will be thrilled you did. read more

With a satisfied haircut & color done on Thursday, I absolutely agree with all the ladies' comments below. The studio space/atmosphere is fantastic, and quite unique. Jean-Francois is very attentive and talented. The studio wouldn't be the same without his presence. Arnaud has been doing this for 30+ years, I found it admirable to see his passion after all these years, and his appreciation of natural beauty. As chef Gusteau from "Ratatouille" would say, "Your only limit is your soul". Not only he makes your hair looks great, what I love the most about Arnaud is that he makes you fall in love with yourself. Now I think that's the magic of all. read more

Arnaud is amazing. Cut and color is perfection. Plus he uses all organic colors and products. Highly recommend this place.

Jean-Francois is the best hair-dresser i've ever had in my whole experience. I have difficult hair type, curly and thick, so not every stylist can manage it. I can honestly say though, Jean is the only one who can. He's very talented! read more

I love and adore Arnaud and Jean-Francois. They are angels sent to make women feel beautiful and confident. Arnaud always know what to do with my ever changing hair. I've been seeing him on and off for 4 years now, and I can tell you that I have completely new hair at this point now, and by new hair I mean much much better hair (I was a religious blonde highlighter but Arnaud and his colorist Letizia made me see the light and now I'm a forever changed). Arnaud is basically psychic intuitive when it comes to hair, and I have shed tears of joy in his salon before. Needless to say he has a large following in Paris, where he had 2 gorgeous Salons. I trust him completely, and I am so better for it. Random: I randomly took a pilates class a few days after I recently saw Arnaud and Jean-F who gave me a very sexy, straight, medium-long bob, and some beautiful copper blond highlights (my fiancé loved it!); and I was telling my instructor who immediately noticed my new color all about Arnaud and JF at Headscape, when a woman in the class who happened to be French exclaimed: "I go to Arnaud too!!!" We had a moment in our jubilation that someone else knew how amazing this Salon is, and its artists. I always have such an amazing time while I'm there, I love the art and decor, Arnaud really has an amazing talent with Interior design and it can really elevate your experience. I always get a really nice cup of tea and a book or french mag. Eloisa is super sweet and she gives an amazing shampoo. Jean-Francois is an insanely talented colorist and I'm so happy every time I see him. Super talented and has gorgeous angel hair that you can't stop staring at. You know that a man with hair that good can be trusted. And by the way, their products are eco responsible as well. Seriously, Headscape is just a gift from the gods. read more

Absolutely amazing experience. The penthouse/studio is to die for. The cutest salon ever. Arnaud and Jean-francois are both the biggest sweethearts. I decided to come here with my mom and as usual she loves what they have done. The cut and color are both perfect. It's exactly what she wanted. read more

Absolutely love this salon and the headscape crew!! Arnaud and Jean-Francois are both very talented; they've worked wonders on my hair from color correction to style. They are both hair genius's, who treat their clients with kindness and genuine care. I leave every appointment extremely pleased, relaxed and thrilled with my look. I'm very picky with my hair; I have long thick hair and without much say they already know what I want, even exceeding my expectations. So beyond grateful for my friend who referred me to them last year. Great customer service, beautiful salon, impeccable work...! read more

You know how when you meet that perfect man, have butterflies in your stomach, and know that you are going to spend the rest of your happy life together?? I didn't expect my hair would look so amazing when I was calling around for a wash and trim. It was fate that led me to Arnaud, and he is a miracle worker. Arnaud is, quite simply, a hair genius. Imagine a Parisian style Edward Scissorhands and you've got the picture. I've never had my hair look so good in all my life. And, Arnaud is all heart - he's a wonderful human being who treats his clients like family. I have curly/wavy hair that loves to grow into a crazy mop, and I like to keep it shorter. Arnaud knows how to add texture without thinning. Check out his wrap-around scissors and amazing undercutting flair. He also cuts my sister's long locks and my mother's short, golden-age style with finesse. There's nothing he can't do. The color, toners, and products they use are so organic my hair feels soft and healthy no matter what I do to it. The Naturalmente product line they carry from Italy is divine. The entire Headscape staff are sweet and accommodating so don't hesitate - you will be in good hair hands. read more

I have been Arnaud's client since I moved to LA nearly 2 years ago. I have to say, the new salon, Headscape, is amazing. It is intimate, luscious, relaxing, and just plain cool. I love how Arnaud and his beautiful crew make everyone feel like family. Yesterday we drank Turkish tea, talked about cooking and music, I just sat there, smiling, watching his scissors dance. He picked up some clippers to put away, and I told him, "If you turned those things on right now, I'd go, OK, because I trust you that much." I am so grateful for Arnaud, Letizia, and a salon experience that I savor. read more

Never had a better haircut than at Headscape! Arnaud's magic touch and styling tips make my haircut look fresh for months.

oh where do i begin?? i was referred to Arnaud by a friend who swears that he is the BEST--EVER. i have really long hair so naturally im paranoid of who touches it, and am always worried about the cuts being too chunky with layers or stylists using thinning shears, etc... the ambiance of his salon is so refreshing and inviting! everything is made of wood and beautiful art decorating the place. a nice view of downtown- the works.. i love that its not a stuffy salon. its way more intimate. so warm and relaxing. First he offered me coffee and freshly squeezed juice and crackers while i got settled in, then kindly asked me in his adorable french accent- 'tell me, what do you NOT want done with your hair?' from there, he took a minute to get to know my hair and then proceeded to begin. i wont go into details, ill just say that this man basically looks at you like its only you and him in the world, and he works your hair like hes massaging each strand. he takes his time with each snip and measures each one so it falls just right*. after the cut, his assistant eloisa washed it with organic shampoo and conditioner. it left my hair feeling sleek and squeaky clean. from there i was taken back to his chair and had the final touches made. then he blew it out and curled it just like i had imagined. sigh*** afterwards i felt like i had the best massage of my life and told him it was better than sex. what a divine experience. the difference between arnaud and other hair dressers i've seen-- is this is his calling and his driving passion. he knew it from a very young age, and has known it his whole life. (if you go- ask him about his journey, its incredible..) when someone is a natural at something its just the best you can ask for. i consider it an honor and a privilege to know a man like him, and ecstatic that he worked my hair sitch out. He is a godsend and i want every person out there to know that we have our own hair angel in LOS ANGELES, and how lucky are we?? i highly recommend him. i will never see anyone else. when i left i gave him a hug that was probably too long, but it was just one of the best nights of my life. hes amazing. see him. he'll blow your mind and your hair back..... read more

I just paid Headscape my first visit and I am ECSTATIC; I could not be any happier with how my hair turned out. I have curly, highlighted blonde hair, and I hadn't been able to find anyone decent in LA to simply touch up my ever-terrible brunette roots...until I found Jean-Francois. There is something comforting in knowing the person in charge of your hair is French, they have that je-ne-sais-quoi when it comes to style and class (not stereotyping, they just do, okay?), and I was absolutely right. Jean-Francois did a magnificent job with my highlights and then applied an organic toner that is exactly the tone I wanted. Since I have curly hair, it gets really tangled when I wash it, and since he has curly hair too, HE UNDERSTANDS. He didn't take a brush and pull all of my hair out while trying to detangle it, like every other hair stylist does, instead he gingerly combed it out while he was conditioning it. He then blow-dried it curly with a diffuser and it looks great! Most hair stylists I've been to have no idea how to blow dry my curls, their usual solution is to straighten them, but Jean-Francois...you made my day. I only had a brief interaction with the owner, Arnaud, but he seemed very professional and clearly owns a badass salon and hires badass people. The salon itself is also beautiful - in a gorgeous DT loft with a huge window, wooden floors and fabulously decorated. The only downfall is that it's slightly on the pricy side, but for the service that you're getting, it's 100% worth it. I doubt you'll find anything comparable to Headscape Hair Studio in LA, and certainly not for any cheaper. read more

My hair has been a challenge since my mom tried a home perm on it when I was10! Hair is my most important fashion accessory so I go to great lengths to find a good stylist. Sexy, Fun, and Sophisticated is Arnaud's motto for hair. I was thrilled to have found Arnaud via groupon. I tried a lot of different places with groupon when I moved to LA and stopped when I found Arnaud. Its awesome to have someone love my hair more than I do, especially since I have no clue what to do with it. It's great that I can go in there and tell him to work his magic and I walk away with a cut that I don't need to do much to. It does usually take me a few days to get use to it since he's pretty styling and up to date with the latest trends... the compliments I get after always assures me that I got another great cut. =) read more

Arnaud is a hair guru!! And Jean-Francois is the most adorable ever! It takes me over an hour to get to Arnaud's salon, but it's completely worth it! When I walk into his salon, I feel like I'm in another world getting a full experience! It's literally my little escape! The music, the decoration and the French language that's spoken, I feel like I'm in a French town! Everyone is so nice! Makes you feel so comfortable! Arnaud does an amazing job on my hair from cut to color. He gives me what I want. I have little hair, so he does a great job making it look super full! When he cuts your hair, you can tell he's super experienced beyond professional because he doesn't cut like a robot. The way he handles the scissors and your hair, it's just so smooth and effortless. He beats any high end boujy feeling LA salon! The outcome, always outstanding. I'm always getting compliments on my hair. Definitely try it out! You won't regret it! read more
