What a delight. I went with my husband who hasn't received a good haircut since his former hairdresser left. Natalia did a fantastic cut. She listened to exactly what he wanted and succeeded. She is so nice, so wants to please, is very precise and does not rush the cut. She is on her own so you don't get that frantic atmosphere with that loud music. If you buy the deal on Yelp, you're pretty much paying $35 for a $75 haircut, and then every haircut afterward is $20. It's like you signed up for a loyalty program. She mainly does solo sessions, so she's not working on 6+ other clients. I love how she interacts with her clients: talkative in a way where she wants to learn about who you are as a person, not judgmental, jokes sometimes. My name is Allie and I was a friend of your daughters, so yes I did actually come to your salon. I felt compelled to post this review after she harassed me for posting an honest review to your salon. You did mess up my hair Natalia. I came in with long beautiful hair and all I asked you to do was to fix my side bang since the way I cut it didn't blend into my hair. You said you would do it for free since I was a friend of your daughters - this was no favor to me because I never would have come to this place if it wasn't for her. First of all this is not a salon it is a barbershop so I was under the false impression before entering this place that a professional would be handling my hair. Second, you did not follow directions because all I asked was to fix my side bang but you decided to do what you want. Third, you are never supposed to cut someone's hair straight across. You said to fix my bang you need to connect it to the bottom of my hair and did arts and crafts with my hair cutting zigzag. You realized it looked bad then you decided to cut it all off saying "you won't miss this". This was seriously traumatizing and humiliating. You started to throw pieces of my hair in the air saying "this is our you give layers" when I never asked for layers. You don't know how to follow directions, Natalia. I told you 10 times to not cut my hair other than my side bangs. I said do not cut it I want to keep the length. You knew you messed up my hair that's why after you put curls in it to hide all the mistakes which honestly still looked pretty stupid and embarrassing. When I washed out the curls I could see that my hair looked like a mullet, very trailer park hair cut. I did not want to go out in public because my hair looked so ugly. I ended up going to a real hair salon the next day and paying $150 to get it fixed. Even to this day my hair still is not as long as it was when I entered your salon. If you guys didn't want me to post a truthful review like this, maybe follow directions and don't mess up someone's hair. read more

About 8 months ago a client of mine told me about Salon 9 and said that I should give it a try. The first time I went I was warmly welcomed by Nataliya the owner, it is a very charming small salon nicely decorated and there is even a very fun parrot. I have been going ever since. Of course because of COVID-19 she had to close but recently reopened so I quickly texted her for an appointment and had went there on Tuesday and as always Netaliya took very good care of me the moment I sat in the chair.
