Cinda for the win! I have naturally curly hair that I also wear up, or straighten and so on. Cinda was able to learn my curl pattern and texture quickly and update my cut! My existing cut was in bad shape and she did a fantastic job bringing the life back into my curls and cut. One hour in and out! Wash, cut and style. Very happy with her services and the outcome. Very interesting to learn her experiences in obtaining her Masters Degree and background in psychology as well. Love a brilliant mind and depth of a soul. As a fellow believer it was especially nice to fellowship during our time together. Fantastic find! Thank you Yelp! read more

I don't usually write reviews but Lori deserves to be celebrated. So happy I found her! Went in there with my stringy hair and she transformed into a full beautiful a line in no time. She has a magic wand for sure. Grateful to have found her and hopefully this review helps someone else discover her magic as well. read more

Long time client of Lori. Love this place and suggest to all my friends when they are in need of a hair stylist. Lately I havent kept up with my hair as often as I like to so when I see her my hair is longer than I like. After a good wash, we dicuss the length we are cutting off she does her magic. When I leave there my curls are so happy ! Headquarters is located in the "Westchester Triangle" that offers plenty of parking options in the front and back of the salon. read more

I started going to Lori at Headquarters Salon because my old hair salon was too far away, and her salon is right in Westchester.. Very happy with the way she does my hair color and styling. Also she is welcoming and pleasant to talk to. Highly recommend! read more

I go here for Lori and she is the best hair dresser i've ever had. I've been to salons in beverly hills and all around and none of them have been able to give me the results i want until i came to Lori. She is time efficient and the price is so affordable. Ive never been this happy with my hair, it has never looked this good and she does such an amazing job! read more

I really love this salon! I was sad when Molly left but have been seeing Lori for about six months now and have to say that my hair has never looked better! I have a couple of hair issues that are hard to work with and she has really stepped up to help, sending me information and ideas that we have then been able to put into place at my next appointment. I really appreciate knowing that she is thinking about her clients and caring about helping them look and feel their best. Hair can be so emotionally loaded and I have really come to trust Lori's opinion and suggestions both in my cut and color. The salon is low key, clean, and friendly with a nice neighborhood vibe. I definitely recommend Head Quarters in Westchester! read more

I will start by saying I have not been to a hair salon in years. I'm a beauty gal so I bleach/dye/cut my own hair but I've just been too busy. I combed yelp looking for someone I thought would match my style. I have ethnic curly hair on the finer side. I called Headquarters on my one day off and Lori was amazing and squeezed me into an appt. With Cinda who specializes in my hair type. I speak with her before the appointment and she listens to what I want and showed excitement about me coming in which was kind of awesome. The salon is nice, I was greeted by Lori and Cinda. Cinda is amazing, she really worked with me. I was really sure what I wanted to do with my grown out teal hair. She gave me suggestions and we came up with a game plan together. Her energy is amazing and we had great conversation throughout my 5 hour color correction/cut/straightening. I was weary of putting my hair in someone else's hands but so happy I did! I will be going in next wash day! I love my hair! read more

First time coming to see Lori. She was recommended to me by a good friend. I'm so glad I followed through. She did an amazing job!! I highly recommend her. My hair is a little shorter and I would have cut it but it's awesome, looks stylish and super healthy! read more

I've been going to Lori for almost 10 years now! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my haircuts. I had another perfect one this morning, but saw the salon was almost empty because of the COVID-19 scare. You don't need to be. As of today, according to the LA County Department of Public Health, there have been 144 cases of Corona virus diagnosed in total for LA county (including Long Beach and Pasadena). Out of over 10 million people! LA is still a very safe place! Now, things can change, and could get worse. But as of now, the social distancing is having tremendous results. Going to Lori's salon (which is spotless) is very safe. I wouldn't have been there this morning if I didn't feel completely safe doing it. And I'm a physician, and have been very actively following the current developments. If you want more information on the COVID-19 issues facing LA county, feel free to look at my instructional webinar at https://youtu.be/wwlSeOaXjWU read more

Yes, I'll admit it...I went elsewhere to "try them out"...glad to be back at HeadQuarters! Lori always manages to bridge the gap between what I want and what my hair needs. This time I literally have three cuts in one without having to style it all morning long. Thanks again!! read more

Came here a few weeks ago because my usual stylist was busy, the yelp reviews is what sold me on this place. I had mid back length hair walking in here I asked for layers I liked the cut until the day I straightened it, man was that a bad idea ! I had the choppiest most uneven layers it looked like a toddler had fun with scissors so disappointed so i ended up having to get my hair chopped to my chin to even up the hack job I got from Molly at Headquarters. Reason for 2 stars is because the place is cute and the women were friendly. read more

I have been going to headquarters salon and seeing Lori for a few years now after looking for a perfect hairstylist. I use to go to salons that would take way longer and charge more but not only does this salon charge less, they also do a much better job and are very efficient with time. I have platinum blonde hair and come in for very complicated things and she always nails it. Highly recommend! read more

This a continuation of another shining hair review. I was a very blonde woman! Right b4 Covid hit, I somehow timed it right to start the process of letting more of my own natural color show through, all the while wanting to definitely remain blonde without being super bleach blonde. 8 months in, I am LOVING it. Lori has transformed my hair from ALL blonde to still very blonde, but with natural (my own darker color) now showing through as well. We are still working on the process, but it's now at a place where I could be very happy with it just as is. I absolutely love it. Thank you, Lori, for that vision that I had that you made a reality. It was dubbed the "wonder hair" for a while...wonder what it will look like! It was worth it and the timing was perfect too as we've all been a lot less social from March on. A biggggg thumbs up to Lori! read more

Been looking for a great haircut for almost a year. Lori took the time to find out about my history with haircutting and color. She understood my challenges with wavy and a full head of hair. She gave me an awesome layered cut, appropriate for my age, my face and my hair. Made great suggestions to manage my fast growing gray roots and keep my blonde look longer. I think I found my stylist right here in my neighborhood. read more

I have been going to Molly for years. She's the absolute best! Always talks through the process so you know exactly what it will be. I have never been disappointed! 5 stars for cut and color!!! Highly recommend, especially for blondes! read more

I'm pretty protective over my hair, so entrusting anybody with cutting it is something I'm hyper critical of. But, that being said, I trust Lori completely with making sure that I'm getting exactly what I want. I've let her cut it short after years of having the length to my waist, and some very subtle coloring, though I know if I decide I want a more drastic change, I can absolutely trust Lori's skills. She's very easy to talk to and takes her time with the cut. She also does a really nice wash before cutting. Very fair pricing and would recommend to all of my friends. read more

Lori was great!!! I avoid getting my hair cut at all cost but Lori made me feel comfortable and welcome. I had a great time talking to her during my cut. Definitely will be back and will recommend this salon to family and friends. read more

The best experience ever! I am not only saying this because my hair cut ended up exactly how i wanted it. But also because i had the best time with Lori! She is such a joy with this admirable high positive energy. She paid attention to my needs, checked in with me at every step and gave me very good advices! I loved my hair there and i loved it when i came back home and i still love it so much. The salon itself is also very comfortable. This is my very first time for looking forward to my next hairdresser visit. read more

I highly recommend Headquarters Salon. From the first time I came to Headquarters Salon, I had Lori Galindo do my hair. I have to say, I am always pleased and happy with her cuts, plus my hair feels healthier. I have been going to her forever, as I am never disappointed and you would feel the same way! Make sure you call for an appointment, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!! Check out her Salon, as it's newly remodeled and simply beautiful inside. read more

HeadQuarters Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I was badly in need of a good stylist for a long overdue haircut and highlights and was very sceptical of going to a new salon. I had no chance but to find one as holidays were coming up and I was on an extended visit to my daughter in L.A. I searched high and low and found HeadQuarters Salon on the internet and chose to give it a try as it had raving reviews and a perfect score of all 5 stars. My appointment was with Lori. I told her what I wanted in terms of cut and colour, she explained to me why she would not be able to achieve the colour I wanted and showed her pictures of without comprimising the integrity of my hair and told me she would do her best to get as close to what I wanted as possible. She said "trust me and let me do it my way" and I did. I am so very glad I listened to her, the result of both the cut and the colour came out much better than what I had hoped for and there was absolutely no damage whatsover to my hair. Every one at that salon seemed very nice, kind and helpful to not each other but to all the customers, not only those whose hair they were doing. I highly recommend Lori Galindo and the HEADQUARTERS Salon. From now on this place is the only place I'll go to have anything big or small done to my hair when I am having an extended stay in Los Angeles. Thank you very much Lori! read more

I made an appt with Molly in hopes of going blonde. I didn't know what to expect because I had been to so many salons and always left disappointed. She was so friendly and very professional. I couldn't believe how blonde she got my hair. Not only did she get it as blonde as id asked but the price was UNBELIEVABLE!!! There is no way you can beat their prices. I was paying nearly double before. This is the place to come, you won't regret it. read more

I've been going to Molly for years to get my hair cut and styled. During the pandemic my hair started to turn white and I had no choice but to color my hair because the salon was closed. This salon is a hidden jewel! It's nestled on a small, block long, street in Westchester, Ca, that if you're lucky to have an appointment on a Friday has an awesome food truck fair! The salon is clean and airy! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You have questions? They have answers! They actually have answers! Color, cut, extensions, wash and set, styling? They do it all! I had Cinda color, condition, straighten and cut my hair and I was in and out in a timely manner, treated with respect and looked like a superstar! My hair event lasted until I returned 2 weeks later!!! I have seen a difference in the health of my hair since I've been going to Cinda and can't imagine gambling with my crop anywhere else! I absolutely recommend Cinda and the people over at HeadQuarters if you want a new look, maintain a look, or regain the look and integrity of your natural hair. read more

I've been going to Headquarters for almost three years and I am so glad to have found this salon. This is a super friendly place with a happy atmosphere, you will feel instantly at ease. I go to Lori for my cut and she is fabulous, very gifted in her work. I'm particular about my hair and Lori is a perfectionist. She listens to what I want and knows how to make it happen, even better than what I expected. She's fantastic with color as well. My highlights come out perfect every time, with no toner required. I started the dreadful process of getting my hair from box dye dark brown to my natural blonde with Molly. Over three months she worked with me to make sure I didn't damage my hair and ensure that my hair was never a funky in-between color. Molly is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, she takes her time understanding exactly what her client wants, explaining what needs to be done, and actually applying the techniques to your hair. HeadQuarters Salon - Hair by Lori - Hair Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

BEST NAIL LADY IN TOWN! at the HeadQuarters Salon Julie - 310/ 670-2468. Julie has done everyone's nails here in Westchester for a long time. She does excellent work and takes her time. Having worked in the salon biz myself, I was quite impressed to learn that she sterilizes her equipment daily. Try her. She's very good. Some of her local customers who moved away still drive here to see her. Her price was very fair for the amount of time she puts in. $27 for mani/pedi -- well worth it! Of course, she does everything else in nails too. read more
