Service was good. However they ruined my hair. They left my hair broken when they mentioned doing it in sessions to avoid breakage. I looked like Lindsay Lohan in freaky friday at the end. The red in the hair left over is because I had red hair before. I was charged $380 for this. read more

Disappointing Results and Lack of Accountability I really wanted to support a small business, but my experience with this salon has been extremely frustrating. In December 2025, I received a perm from the owner, and my roots didn't curl at all. On February, I returned for a haircut with a different stylist. Initially, it seemed okay, but once my hair dried, the front was chopped and looked like a bob. When I mentioned the previous perm issue to the owner, she initially denied it was her work. Once I showed proof, she made excuses instead of taking responsibility. Despite this, I returned for a balayage the next day. I also asked her to fix the bad haircut. she trimmed it a little, but when I pointed out that it still looked the same, she became defensive. I decided to leave it as is to avoid my hair being chopped further. As for the balayage, I gave the service a chance, thinking it might look better once fully dry, but the results were streaky and harsh not at all like a balayage. I called the next morning asking her to fix it, but she refused to offer real solutions, repeatedly saying it wouldn't come out rather than brainstorming ways to correct the poorly done job. The staff was pleasant during appointments, but the owner's attitude completely changed when issues were raised. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to provide professional solutions made this experience extremely disappointing. I recommend reading the bad reviews and considering other salons. The stress and poor results aren't worth it read more

I called for a last minute trim and Lupita was able to take me in. When I walked in everyone was very welcoming. Lupita did a great job for a reasonable price, $30, I'll definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

It was a great experience overall my service was most definitely great I would come here multiple times

I made an appointment for 9:00 a.m. and waited for 45 minutes. The person never showed up or opened the place. This is a complete lack of responsibility, as when you schedule an appointment, you expect the agreed time to be respected. I lost an hour of my time that I could have used for other important commitments. If you're thinking of making an appointment with this person, be cautious, as you might end up waiting and wasting your time. I do not recommend this experience. read more

Called and she squeezed me in last minute, showed her a inspo picture and she perfectly left my hair how I wanted it, super quick and price was amazing! She was my first haircut in 10 years I was scared to go to someone who would leave my hair bad but will be going back now for any hair services read more

My mom had an appointment set for Sunday @2pm. She had called and made the appointment with the lady 2 days prior.... the lady even asked my mom if she was sure she was going to show up to which my mom obviously said yes... I mean that's what the appointment is for. My mom shows up on Sunday @1:40pm and someone through the Ring tells her that the lady already left and probably forgot to look at her book for her appointments. Very very unprofessional! read more

I had been looking for a new salon as the one I used to go to is a long drive and it's service throughout the years has gone downhill. I was looking for something in the area. After trying 2 other salons in the area and not being too impressed I came across this salon and decided to give it a try. I went into Palacios not knowing what to get I knew I wanted a new color and cut but didn't know what could be achieved as I had some blonde/ orange hair in it already. I showed Ceecee a pic of a wine haircolor 1st as I have always wanted that color and I've gone to numerous salons and no one has been able to achieve it, I then showed her one of one that I was okay getting if the wine color was not achievable. CeeCee looked at my hair and told me that it would be so I gave her the okay to do it.CeeCee was nice and all but deep down I have never gotten the wine color I have always wanted so I wasn't expecting much.Ceecee did not disappoint!! She gave me the color I have always wanted I almost cried. I left there with a huge smile.CeeCee has gained a new customer..I will be a very known face there .Thank you CeeCee read more

After looking up over 20 hair salons in the area I decided to come here and I LEFT MORE THAN HAPPY. Lorena washed, cut and styled my hair. She did an amazing job with my haircut! She cut my hair in layers and I absolutely loved it. She then washed my hair with this shampoo she said helps with dandruff and my hair felt so refreshing! She took her time blow drying my hair section my section because I have a lot of hair and it's thick too. I spent about two hours here but the results were AMAZING. I will be coming back here. Thank you Lorena for the wonderful job you did, I feel like a Hollywood star read more

So I had an appointment for 9am I'm here on time but the woman is not I'm out here in the rain waiting on her . They say she's stuck in traffic really? I had to get up early to be here on time . Not reliable this is not the way you run a business . read more

I haven't had a real haircut since the beginning of the year (thanks Covid) so I have been doing it myself. I have curly hair so you can imagine how my lion's mane looked towards September. I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get a haircut and had such a pleasant experience! My daughter asked for an undercut and I needed a trim with long layers. The price was VERY fair! I am definitely going back for a blowout when I need to get fancy! Please make sure to tip, they deserve it!!!! read more

I asked for a light brown with highlights and I get this. Terrible coloring, I have 3 different colors in my hair and my hair started to fall out because they decided to leave the bleach in my hair for over an hour. Awful customer service as well, wanted to take my license plate number, wanted me to pay over $200 for this bullshit, told me this is what I wanted and said "nothing is wrong with your hair." I would honestly give them 0/5 stars if i was able to. So sad, awful service and rude owner. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

So I live close by and was looking to get a trim. Been to other places before and they cut way more then what I ask for. I called made an appointment with Cici and I told her exactly what I wanted and she gave me just that. Never been happier to walk out of a salon with a smile instead of crying because someone chopped my hair off lol. Thank you Cici I'll be coming again for my trims. read more

This rating is only to the owner of this salon! I asked for long layers and left with hair that I could barely tie up. Before going into this salon my hair was literally down my back. She put all my hair in a pony and chopped off more than half. She seemed like a very jealous woman, after I told her how much I loved my length and even after she compliments my hair she decided to do this to me. I honestly felt bad for her. I still paid too. My hair will grow back but I just had to share my experience in case you are someone who is really attached to your hair. I'd hate for this to happen to you too. And I also want to say that I came here before and a different hairstylist cut my hair PERFECTLY. Too bad she wasn't in that day, and too bad of me to assume that the owner of this establishment could follow a basic request read more

I had an appointment at 10 am this morning and I showed up at 9:57. The business states it opens at 10am but there was no one there. I waited for 10 minutes, calling and trying to see if anyone was going to show up to cut my hair. I called one last time at 10:13 and still no answer so I went back to my car. Another woman showed up for an appointment and she appeared to be a regular client because she called one of the employees to see what was happening. About 10:24am the woman who was supposed to open pulls up. She said when she tried to talk to me through the ring I had already walked away. I told her I was standing there for 10 minutes calling, pressing the ring, knocking. She said "I didn't know I was going to be late". Honestly if it's 9:55am and you're not ready for your 10am appointment, you're late. She could have called the owner (who lives in the back) and told her to let me inside but instead she just casually showed up, no apology, just excuses. So I left and told her to also cancel my next appointment to get my hair done. I want to support local businesses because I live in the area but I can't support the absolute disregard for professionalism at this salon. I got up early and showed up on time. You work there. So should you. read more

I'm a very picky person when it comes to service. I want it all. Fair price, good manners, nice environment and people who know what they're doing. Before coming to Palacio Hair Studio I went to another salon earlier that day, the lady I spoke with said to me " I cant do nothing with your hair that the best thing to do will be to wait a few months, let some more hair grow out and then we will go from there but I was determined to get my hair done that day. I got all of that here and have never been happier with the out come of her work. Vero looked at my hair and said "your hair is damaged you might not get exactly what you want but I'll try my best to meet your expectations and the outcome was very similar to what I was looking for. I loved it!!!! Vero did exactly what I wanted . Thank you so much You are the best!!!!! read more

I hadn't had a haircut in about five months and I came in here without an appointment and they took me in right away. Yolanda I believe was the name of the lady who cut my hair (she is about 6feet tall long hair wears it in a braid, in her mid 30's probably) She was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I told her I wanted long layers. She told me I was going to love my haircut after. She was right I LOVE it!!! Unlike other hair salons I have been to Yolanda took the time to show me where she was going to cut my hair, how long the layers were going to be and then started cutting. She made sure I knew how much hair she was going to cut off! See, now that is called professionalism and excellent customer service! I am very pleased with Yolanda's work so I'll be back soon. Also she told me she was going to blowdry my hair so I could see how beautiful the layers looked but after telling her yes I realized I was going to be late for a meeting I had. When I told her she was not mad or upset she humbly said "No problem come back whenever you can!" I'm telling you this lady knows what she is doing! Come on in, check out the place, and if you need a cut ask for Yolanda! 15$ haircut read more

I called on a Saturday the first available appointment for a haircut was Tuesday at 5. I arrived at 4:55 when I walked in I said Hi I have a 5pm haircut. The lady immediately replied I can't see you today. She then asked if I had an appointment and I said yes at 5. She said oh ok have a seat. She told me she was running behind. She was currently dying someone's hair. After about 20 minutes she came to me to start. I should have trusted my gut and left. She proceeded to ask how much I needed to cut. I haven't cut my hair in over a year and half due to covid so my hair was really long. She dry chopped my hair and said she would even it out. After the chop she sprayed my hair and cut around. Half way through had to stop to talk to someone trying to make an appointment. I should have asked to have my hair washed but I assume she knew what she was doing. She did not take anytime to make me feel welcomed. Just seemed like she needed to quickly cut my hair and get me to leave. As if I wasn't worth her time because it was just a simple haircut. My hair is wavy and frizzy so when she sprayed it, it started to dry really fast. She showed me a mirror and said it doesn't look even but it is because your hair is wavy. I told her I straighten my hair so I need it to be even. She said it would be. When I straighten my hair a few days later I was so devastated at how uneven my hair was all around. She did a terrible job and I believe all the good reviews on here must be family and friends. I would never step foot in this place again or even advise any of my friends and family to waste their money on this crappy place. Not sure how she is in business. read more

This hair salon is the only place I go to get my hair cuts! They always explain to me what they are going to do to my hair and how much length they will cut off. Keep in mind my hair is long so I'm very picky on how my hair is layered. This place never fails me! read more
