This is my third summer staying here for a week, and I look forward to Ely and my stay here. Shiela has always been a great host. I admit, I don't need a lot of kid things, nor do I need to be entertained. Nice deep wide level pads, some with newly placed gravel. Solid power station, I can get 30 or. 50 amp at the pole, the water and sewer hookups are placed appropriately for easy short hookups. Gated, with an access code provided. I have a 34 ft fifth wheel and the site is plenty deep for the rig plus the truck that pulls it. Trash service at the site. I'll keep coming back!!!

The place is very small...only 20 pads, although plans for expansion. Full hookups - water, sewer and electric at all pads - awesome. Gated park - glad we don't have lookie loos driving through at night. Big plus is the clubhouse. Great for the summer rainy days. Gas bbqs, a couple of propane fire pits, tons of games, big vintage pool table, ping pong, books and videos. Sadly the flat screen didn't work...but one doesn't drive all the way to Ely Minnesota to watch tv. That said, the folks in the office said a new, bigger smart tv before weeks end. Saturday they have hot state fair mini donuts coming off the machine in the clubhouse. Enclosed off leash dog area by the clubhouse also a plus. The town has several museums, and two of them are very close. Dorothy Molter, the root beer lady museum is across the street, and the International Wolf Center (live wolves) is bicycle reach from the park. Cool, quiet little place, tidy and tucked away.

**Looking for a nice resort? THIS ISN'T IT** I have worked…read morein hospitality for many years, most of the those years being a General Manager, when I tell you this is the worst place to stay I am not kidding. I've seen some pretty harsh hotels/motels/resorts and I would choose them before booking a cabin with the new owners of Trails End. My husband's family has been going to Orr for decades as they have family in the area! My inlaws traveled up there before my husband was born and continued on for the last 43 years! About 15 years ago, they made the switch to Trails End and fell in love immediately. They spent 8 days a year there every.single.year up until this year. We have never had any problems with the prior owner, our family is huge, we rent 5 of the 9 cabins for a total of 21 people. We've never had complaints from anyone staying at the resort or the prior owners, until last year. 3 months after checking out they contacted my mother in law by letter stating they were charging us for different problems in all our cabins, accused one family of stealing towels and blamed my inlaws for leaving blood from meat on the bottom of the fridge. Non of this true of course as we would never do that, we had never done it in the past why now just last year? Are the cabins clean, yes. Are the grounds nice, yes! However, the owners are scam artists trying to stay afloat in a business they have no right running. They are not trustworthy on what they say. They have booked other people in our cabins even though we have deposits. They told my sister in law a cabin was available and then when she got there and double check it suddenly wasn't available. They do not know how to a run a business. Please do not spend your money here if your looking for a nice resort then check out Myrtle Lake Resort right down the road! Those owners will treat you like family!

I camped here for two evenings back over the summertime of 2021 and really enjoyed my experience. There were so many great aspects to Arnold's. First thing...although they don't accept reservations online, I called them the day of needing a campsite and they had immediate availability. Granted, this area of International Falls, Minnesota is very remote in terms of locations for tourists to visit, but overall, Arnold's was extremely accessible for any adventurer traveling spontaneously. I just had my tent with me and could have used a simple primitive site for $20...but for $5 more I got Amp Power as well for charging my electronics. I was set up for success in my explorations around Voyageurs National Park. Arnold's is located pretty much right in town of International Falls, MN...convenient for everything a good ole small town can offer. There are fast food restaurants, supply stores, grocery stores...all the necessities that you can think of. So...having the amenities of International Falls while spending time at the Rainy Lake section of Voyageurs (only 12 miles away) as well as the Lake Kabetogama area too (only 28 miles away), it was great to stay here at Arnold's. I met the Arnold, the camp host right when I pulled into the campground, and he directed me to my site which was located in the center of the grounds surrounded by the RV sites. What was terrific about being in the middle of it all was that I got to set up my tent along fluffy grass while being situated close to the bathrooms and showers. I paid $25 per night for 2 nights. Right when I was greeted by Arnold, he gave me a quick overview and tour of the campgrounds. And that was it. I was good to go on my own. I set up my tent and plugged in my electronics with the Amp Power service (I believe I had 20 Amp). Since it was late in the afternoon on my first day...I headed off to the shower house. They have 2 showers for men, basically both very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms located inside the shower house were fine. Also good was the cell phone reception service being strong. I had no issues downloading a couple of movies to watch at night. Some other details and extras... - They have a dump station. - They sell firewood and have fire pits. - Each site had a picnic table. - Quiet hours start at 10pm. - They offer rates for weekly and monthly stays. Weekly is $150. Monthly is $550. During my time here, there actually weren't any other visitors staying next to me with tents. I was the only person using a tent. But...all the RV sites were fully occupied. Lastly, using Arnold's as my home base in exploring a majority of Voyageurs National Park was simply ideal and perfect. I'm so happy I found it on Campendium, the app on my phone. I highly recommend to visitors and tourists interested in coming to this remote area of Northern Minnesota near the border with Canada to consider staying at Arnold's Campground & RV Park.

The facilities were well maintained and the campsites have everything you need to have some quiet, sit around the fire, and eat your camp meals. The park itself offers great trails, will set you up with fishing gear, as well as rent you a canoe or kayak or rowboat for 4 hours or a full day. The new trail center is a beautiful building, and the beach is a wonderful place to have lunch or snooze in the sun. We did the hiking loop that takes you back by the backcountry sites. It was about a 3-4 hour hike and we saw a lot of wildlife and had the trail all to ourselves. Next time we go, we'll be staying at the paddle-in site on that loop. It was the perfect spot. We will be back here again.
