I was given The Headlight Guy's name and number from Wilson Tint in Margate and gave Brett a call about restoring the headlights on my 2006 Infiniti M35X. The headlights weren't a disaster - they weren't yellow and in awful condition, but were far from what they looked like new, even after having them restored once before, a few years ago. This process - with levels of sanding and repair, and several rounds of clearcoat, made the lights look brand new. The finished product is honestly stunning, and worth every dollar. Brett also restored the front emblem on my Supra, and I stupidly forgot that there is one on the back, too, so I'll have to have him come back. Actually, I plan to use his services for another car I own. Besides the quality of Brett's work, he was very nice. He offered for me to sit outside and watch the process (most people don't do this) - said that he actually prefers this, and so I did. He's a interesting guy - very eclectic and a great conversationalist. Yes, that's not why I hired him, but it added to the experience. Whether you have the chance to get to know Brett, the work he does is real quality. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. read more

I wish I could give Brett 10 stars! To say that I was extremely satisfied with the job and service would be an understatement. Brett was professional and kind. I saw his truck around town and decided to give him a call. I explained to Brett that I paid a guy to come restore my headlights about 5 months ago. That guy did a horrible job and left the headlights worse than before. When Brett heard this he was up for the challenge and I could tell that he actually was passionate about fixing what that guy had done. Coincidentally, Brett happened to be in my area and came by to check out the headlights right after I called. He ended up working on my car that evening. Honestly, I did not have very high expectations based on the damage the previous guy did. All I said to Brett was if he could make it any better, I would be happy. Brett not only made it better, he made them look BRAND NEW. I could not believe my eyes. I was so happy with the work that was done. Brett not only restored my headlights, but he fixed the damage that had been done. I cannot recommend Brett enough. Thank you so much for making my car look new again and for caring and taking pride in what you do. read more

i wanted to rate a zero but the yelp program wont go post unless i put a star, so its one star i was forced to use. I was given a gift card for a $100.00 and when i called the guy to make an appointment, the person that i dealt with then rambled on about dealing with fraudulent gift cards and was very unprofessional. I sent him a picture of the gift certificate only never to receive a response. i am too embarrassed to tell my friend who gave me the gift certificate what happened, thank god for YELP. Don't use this guy. I still have my gift certificate, not sure why i have not ripped it up yet. My friend wasted $100.00 bucks for nothing. read more

While driving I noticed this impeccable and amazingly designed truck that caught my attention and I had to call. I was in need of my headlights being restored and I thought to myself, if someone took the time to design this truck with such detail and creativity, they may be exactly what I've been looking for. Brett was professional and demonstrated an unremarkable skill and knowledge in his craft. He exceeded my expectations. Don't be fooled by the do it yourself kits, call the headlight guy, the real professional!. Joe Cirillo Premier Electrical Contractors, Inc. read more

I was referred to Brett by Travis at A-1 car stereos in margate (also 5 stars!) Brett came to my home to clean the headlights of my 2008 Volkswagen Eos. He is a true artist who took the time to properly resurface the lights (unlike the dealership!) I forgot how clear my lights were! I highly recommend anyone who needs their lights cleaned to give Brett a call!! read more

Brett is a first class artisan when it comes to headlights. My 2006 Acura RL had lens that were nearly totally opaque. When I lived in NJ the lenses were perfectly clear -- and this model has some of the strongest LED lamps available. Having lived in FL the past 5 years they have nearly "fogged over." I made an appointment with Brett on Tuesday to restore the headlights this afternoon (Thursday). And I should emphasize that Brett is meticulous in returning calls/e-mails and scheduling appointments. Brett spent from 1:00pm until 3pm restoring the lenses --- and they truly are CHANDELIER CLEAR! I am amazed at the job he did!!! I highly recommend Brett -- he is punctual, professional, and a craftsman -- he does not accept "good enough" --- only "perfection" meets his standard. read more

I was referred to Brett by my mechanic, and I can say this is bar far the best my headlights have looks in years. I had someone do restore them before and they came out nice but not perfect. Within 3 months though they were beginning to haze up and have a yellow tint again. It's only been a few days now so I can't say it's gonna last forever but knowing his work comes with a 5 year warranty let's me know I'm gonna be good for quite some time. read more

I used Brett, the headlight guy, to clean up my headlights on my Buick enclave. He was on time and professional and showed the upmost integrity with what turned out to be a little more complicated than anyone expected. He is honest, clean and he would be the best option by far to clean up or repair your headlights read more

Brett did a great job, very professional and I'm happy to say my car looks so much better! I definitely recommend his service, it's a great value compared to replacing modern expensive headlights. read more

I wouldn't recommend the service that Brett "the headlight guy" performs ; his warranty card states 5 year warranty on his service but when you call him to service the headlights he states that the warranty is only for one year and that after that he charges 1/2 price from him to come repair the headlights that are guaranteed to be chandelier clear for 5 years. Very disappointed in the way I was talked to on the phone "Not Professional" and that he doesn't stand behind his warranty. It was a bait and switch warranty and when asked why his postcard warranty doesn't have any stipulations on it I was told he doesn't have to have that on there "that I can take him to small claims court" (his exact words). Lights weren't perfect when done; but were nice. They yellowed and peeled after one year and got worse and worse; till I called today and tried to redeem the warranty that I was told I have. Very very disappointed. read more

OK, so I'm looking around the web for a local shop that does headlight refinishing because my Lexus Lights had become a fright at night! Blistering South Florida sunlight had taken its toll on my baby and quite frankly the rest of the car looks showroom new except for the brownish dull, dawn of the dead look of my beams. Couldn't get any solid leads and of course EVERYONE claims they're the best...riggghhhht! Enter Brett THE Headlight Guy!! Called him up and made an appointment to come to my office to do his MAGIC! Now mind you I am completely beyond sceptical that they will ever look new again or even remotely close. Brett pulls up in his mobile shop which says on the side "Candelier Clear" I thought Oh my how cheesy, but if they come out half as good as he claims I will be satisfied. I hand him my keys and a very quick hour later he becons me outside. You could have knocked me over with a feather!!! I swear if I didn't know better I'd have thought he had brought along brand new headlights from Lexus and swaped them out!!! Seriously ridiculous!! He his beyond a Master of his trade...I burst out into laughter because I simply could not believe how great...NO...Brand Freaking New they looked! He told me not to touch them or drive for 30 mins as there is a new UV protection glaze curing to keep them new looking for at least 5 YEARS! Yes he gives you a written 5 year guarantee!!! I have waited a few weeks before writing this to see if it would fade...NOPE!!! Looks beyond amazing!! WOW!!! If you use Brett you won't Regret! :-) read more
