I randomly came upon The Cottage one day while driving, I stopped in and was greeted by Dana, the then owner, she was more than happy to give me a tour and introduce me to the teachers each of my children would have. I was instantly in love with the place, it is a school atmosphere, they don't just stick 20 kids in a room and let them go buckwild. Since then The Cottage has been taken over by new owners, Elle and Dustin, who are amazing and very diligent in dealing with any needs or concerns you have. The school has been recently renamed to The Cottage Education and Learning Acadamy, because it is more than just a daycare. Each class has curriculum type schedules, which include Science and Spanish, and parents are always informed of what is being worked on that particular week to keep it going at home. The teachers are amazing and always have the child's best interest at heart. If you are looking for the best school in the area, The Cottage is worth your time to stop and tour. Of course it costs a little more than your average day care, but isn't that the point, it isn't your average daycare! Children remember and learn the most in their youngest years and will carry their experiences with them forever, why not give them the best you can and you will find that at The Cottage!

We have all three of our children enrolled here and they each have had unique experiences. Our middle son got a bloody nose during his kindergarten assessment and the entire staff stopped what they were doing to help. The teachers and Mindy care so much. The communication is excellent and every single teacher we've had is willing to work with us and help our kids excel in their weak areas. My son's third grade teacher, Mrs. Honles, has built up his confidence so much this year. She understands his needs and adjusts to help him thrive. Our youngest was fortunate to have a teacher from his previous preschool, we were so excited when she was hired. This school has the right amount mix of fun and learning. All of these teachers and administrators are very understanding when kids are not perfect and give grace when it's needed. All they want is for the kids to exceed. All three of my kids have had their ups and downs over the year but I never feel like I'm in the dark and they here is always a plan to get to the next level. What really shines through at this school, is a love of Jesus and a desire to help these kids know him and grow as strong independent thinkers.
