I have had wonderful experiences even when she was going through a rough patch getting along with friends and sharing. The staff was always so positive and helpful with tips and solutions. Pavlish potty trained her by 3 and by 4 she was beyond ready for Kindergarten because of their preschool program. I'm in awe at how she knows how to tell time and tell me what calendar day it is. She knows her planets and dinosaurs and describes her teachers as "all her favorite." I am forever grateful to the Pavlish Preschool. Thank you!!!

Our 3 year olds were in this daycare until we were told to basically find another- one of our twins…read morewas having some issues communicating with the staff (speech therapy was recommended and we were working with our pediatrician), learning routines, sitting and paying attention during lessons and story time, and sharing toys with other children. No- not biting, hitting, any other behaviors you would expect would get your kid kicked out. Most frustrating is that there were never any formal meetings to even discuss the possibility that if these things weren't fixed, we'd be kicked out. We didn't see it coming and had to scramble to find new childcare. The behaviors she exhibited are normal 3-year-old behaviors that might take some kids longer than others to work through. I feel the staff is either stretched too thin or doesn't have the patience or energy needed to work with little learners of all levels. We felt extremely blind-sighted by this decision and heart-broken for our kids who now have to start somewhere else, leave their friends and learn new routines. It was already hard enough leaving our only kids in the hands of someone else, and now I'm facing a ton of anxiety all over again hoping this doesn't happen to us again and our kids won't be given up on as easily as Meadow Wood gave up on them. Before this happened, I did appreciate many things about this daycare. The Brightwheel app is convenient and they update you/post pictures of your kids throughout the day. During summer there were a lot of extra activities like field trips and a magic show. Some of the teachers were really nice to us (we saw some be pretty snippy with the kids at times though). We always knew about injuries via an incident report. Payment was easy. Lots for littles to do and different enrichment activities that matched the seasons. Open at 6:00AM for parents who need to get to work early. However, unless your kids are really good at sitting still, following routines, and don't cause a lot of problems for the staff in general, they might tell you to find somewhere else better suited to your child's needs and that they can't offer the 1:1 that your child needs because they have a lot of kids to watch already.

I was told there shouldn't be a problem getting her in as I wasn't too far down on the list for that month. When it came closer to needing daycare (August) and not hearing from them, I called to confirm arrangements. They said they didn't have availability and to check back next year! I told them I was on the waitlist list since last summer. Their excuse was other moms who have children there take precedence. What really likely happened is they lost the list in their relocation and never admitted to it. Fast forward, I follow up in the fall, the new year, and again I called back in the summer and I asked what place I was in line and the gave me a number that was way further down then what I started with. Never did hear from them. Disorganized, irresponsible and unprofessional.

The focus on independence, learning how to learn, choice, working with others, manners and social skills were what we wanted for him. We found all of this and more at Coeur d'Alene Montessori. Ms. Diane's experience and dedication are evident in the structure and management of the school. The staff that she has assembled is both knowledgeable and nurturing. They interact well with children and communicate openly with parents. We have observed this school during class time and appreciate the thoughtful engagement of students in their learning. We love the way the students talk to each other and their teachers. It is a warm, respectful, and joyful environment. Our grandson literally ran into the classroom and settled in from day one. No tears or clinging, just exuberance to be in this place... learning, growing, and being a four year old. Thank you Coeur d'Alene Montessori.

Our son is in the Pre-K class with Miss Amy and Miss Amanda, and they are both incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely invested in the kids. One thing that really stands out about Kinder-Magic is how much they prioritize the emotional wellbeing of each child as well as the classroom community. The teachers are very intentional about helping the kids feel safe, supported, and confident. Our son also attends the afternoon supplemental classes, where he may be with Miss Amy, Miss Amanda, Miss P, or Miss Bernadette, and he adores them all. Every teacher we've encountered has been warm, thoughtful, and clearly loves what they do. After trying a few other places before this, it's such a relief to finally feel like we found the right fit. Our son comes home happy and excited to tell us about his day, which says everything. We're so grateful we found Kinder-Magic. If you're looking for a nurturing, thoughtful preschool or kindergarten in the CDA area, this place is truly magic.

I sent the principal a very heated email inquiring as to why my daughter was having to stay up late doing these makeup assignments. The principal, Annie Marshall, sent me an email gaslighting me and my daughter accusing my daughter of not doing the work but ultimately admitted that she had no idea what happened. She pulled my daughter out of class and brought her into the office, and instead of asking her what happened or apologizing to her for what happened, told my daughter that it was her fault and she probably didn't do the assignments and that the teacher probably didn't lose the assignments. I attempted to contact the chairman of the school board, Dustin Seacrest, but the number they give only goes to the school. Found him on Facebook and sent a message with no reply. My daughter also played volleyball here and they kept her on the bench. I emailed the school asking about why she wasn't getting any playing time and the effect that was having on her confidence and self-worth. I received an email from a generic school email address that gave no reason for it. I sent a follow-up email asking for an actual reason and how their actions weren't very Christian like. If anybody would like proof of any of this I have all emails. I can't tell you where to send your kids, but based on my experience as well as my daughter's experiences, I cannot recommend this school at this time.
