They change up activities and my kids always enjoy going to school. The school never smells like a school or chemicals. They keep it so clean and use essential oils and non-toxic cleaning supplies. They are holistically minded which works very well for my family and knowing they are in a chemical free, safe place. Science Day was one of his favorites, and he told everyone about Miss Hunter (partly because they shared a name) because he wanted to share what he learned in science. He tells people all he knows about Jesus, and that his teacher, Mrs. Rablin taught him. He always said the playground is the best ever. I loved that the staff was all so great with the kids. They are patient and kind, and yet firm. The kids know what is expected of them and what they can expect in return. This school provides a wonderful and positive environment for learning, growing, and making memories!

We had issues with West Valley School District and felt our only choice was private school or homeschooling. I am so glad we chose to try VCS. It has been an exceptional experience for us these past 3 years. Moving into Jr High, we see no reason to expect anything different. I'm not saying they are the only good school or that it will be the right fit for your circumstances. But, if you are researching options, they are definitely worth a look.

The children are about the only good thing about this place. The owner (Robyn) shows constant favoritism to her own daughter (Angel) that works here, her sister (Ladonna), and the few employees that she likes/ that have worked there for years. Her daughter (Angel) who is not even qualified to work here is allowed to do the bare minimum(causing other classrooms to go without and other people to do her job), runs personal errands on the clock, she watches her own child on the clock(other employees have also had to help watch her daughter while working), she does her own personal school work on the clock, sits in the office doing personal tasks rather than working, leaves for longer periods of time than her allotted break times, shows up late, "isn't allowed to be in the bathroom for too long because she forgets what shes doing/ where she is" (Robyns own words), wears whatever she wants while the rest of us follow a dress code. Other employees are expected to pick up Angel's slack and not say anything about it, yet Robyn has fired other people on the spot for the same thing. Ladonna the cook does not follow food safety policies, consistently leaves food uncovered in the fridge after cooking it, freezes, de-thaws, and re-freezes food. Claims things on the menu are homemade but in reality they are pre-made items. Uses the microwave to cook 90% of the food, walks around the center with the same gloves on that shes uses to prepare the food. Has served expired food as well as raw food on multiple occasions. Does not provide enough food for the kids to have a full portion or second helpings. Shows up late and leaves early almost every single day, and complains about doing her job constantly. Robyn will consistently brag about how much money she has and all the things she buys/ trips she goes on but wont give her employees raises or incentives to stay or offer healthcare benefits or any benefits really. If you are sick or have to call out she will shame you for it and show no sympathy or understanding, but allows her own daughter to call out whenever she feels like it. Will allow her favorite employees to accrue PTO but would cash out my PTO on almost every single paycheck to the point I had negative PTO hours. Robyn will make a set of rules for one classroom but certain people are exempt from those rules. She does not accommodate children that show signs of being on the spectrum or that may have a disability instead she will just kick them out of the center. Working here took a huge toll on my mental health, despite working extremely hard day after day I was never shown any gratitude or appreciation instead I was treated as the "less than" employee because I was simply not a part of her favorites. Even though I was considered a "lead teacher" I was not allowed to make any decisions about the classroom I worked in, had my ideas turned down, and was not recognized as a good employee ever. Robyn is an extremely greedy, selfish and unappreciative employer and expects this job to be your only priority when this business is not her priority in the slightest. She is the worst manager I have ever encountered in my entire life. I will sincerely miss the children I cared for but I will not miss working here, and do not recommend this place for employment at all for anyone.

The math teacher my daughter had returned some of her graded assignments without uploading the…read moregrades. She then proceeded to assign my daughter some makeup assignments for her mistake. I sent the principal a very heated email inquiring as to why my daughter was having to stay up late doing these makeup assignments. The principal, Annie Marshall, sent me an email gaslighting me and my daughter accusing my daughter of not doing the work but ultimately admitted that she had no idea what happened. She pulled my daughter out of class and brought her into the office, and instead of asking her what happened or apologizing to her for what happened, told my daughter that it was her fault and she probably didn't do the assignments and that the teacher probably didn't lose the assignments. I attempted to contact the chairman of the school board, Dustin Seacrest, but the number they give only goes to the school. Found him on Facebook and sent a message with no reply. My daughter also played volleyball here and they kept her on the bench. I emailed the school asking about why she wasn't getting any playing time and the effect that was having on her confidence and self-worth. I received an email from a generic school email address that gave no reason for it. I sent a follow-up email asking for an actual reason and how their actions weren't very Christian like. If anybody would like proof of any of this I have all emails. I can't tell you where to send your kids, but based on my experience as well as my daughter's experiences, I cannot recommend this school at this time.

My two children have been going to Children's Montessori Center for the last five years and I haven't witnessed anything discribed as what the last person has outlined - EVER! This is a high end Montessori Center and I feel my children are in a safe and clean environment. I have never walked into CMCI to find my children or anyone else's children unattended. In addition, I feel the staff is very professional and friendly. I have never witnessed any teachers EVER yelling at children or engaging in any inappropriate conversations. My children are excited to go to CMCI every day as they make learning fun. This isn't just a daycare, it's a learning center. My children learned at an early age how to write their own name, alphabet, all the presidents (in order) and continents by the time they were 3-4 years old, just to name a few. I cannot express how thankful I am to CMCI and Debbie Henry for preparing my children for grade school. I absolutely love this school and highly recommend it to anyone. You children will thrive here!
