2 months ago My wife…read moreand I have been renting at ashton apartments for 2 years, and mind you, we were NEVER late on our rent, and have worked very hard to be professional while living here to retain a good reference when we moved out, no matter what situation arose. Do not rent from this company without researching it first! Nothing good will come out of it. First, the maintenance man Rob, came over and to my garage one day while I was in my garage, screaming my music was too loud. So,, i told him it was day time, and i didnt see the problem. So, he reaches into my garage, and trips my stereo out of the wall, causing it to break. This incident lead to me getting a phone call from a man the next day, threatening me, talking about personal information of mine that no one knows about, such as my kids, and where I live, my cars color and features, etc. When I paid people finders to search the phone number for me, it comes back to the apartment manager, Setarah Bacons, husband, kody bacon. Setarah gave him all my info, had him call me, threatening me. Then, I was leaving the apartments the next night, and a vehicle pulls off after me. I noticed right away, it was her vehicle that she drives every so often to work, but a man was in it this time. I find out it was her husband, the same man who was threatening me. He chased me all across spokane, trying to run me off the road, and yelling threats to me the whole way, and my wife had to call in a police report. Now, trying to move out, setarah has made it impossible for us to do so, giving every landlord we fill out with a bad recommendation, leaving us homeless, all because of a loud radio. My wife has spent $500 in applications now, and mind you, she has a 750 credit score. This is only one of the many incidents that has happened. The list gets much bigger, so I cannot stress it enough. After speaking with the regional manager kelse ball, about this, setarah is still able to work here as well. The worst, most unprofessional business. They put their own review up on here as well to make them look great. They are horrible, from setarah, all the way up through kelse ball, regional manager, to the owner.

When we needed to move to a disability apartment in our same complex, she made it possible in a courteous, helpful, and efficient manner. Robert in Maintenance provides equally outstanding service, anticipating our needs and quickly resolving any maintenance issues, which over the years involved replacing a refrigerator and water heater. We feel that Ashton Place is our home. Our experience puts management here in the A+ range.

Science Day was one of his favorites, and he told everyone about Miss Hunter (partly because they shared a name) because he wanted to share what he learned in science. He tells people all he knows about Jesus, and that his teacher, Mrs. Rablin taught him. He always said the playground is the best ever. I loved that the staff was all so great with the kids. They are patient and kind, and yet firm. The kids know what is expected of them and what they can expect in return. This school provides a wonderful and positive environment for learning, growing, and making memories!

It's worth calling out clearly that this is not the same school or leadership. The school closed and reopened under completely new ownership and administration. Our experience reflects the current team, not what's described in those older reviews. We have two kids enrolled. One started just after turning 2 and is now 3.5, and the other started just before 5 and is now 5.5. Both of them genuinely love going to school. There are plenty of days where pickup turns into a negotiation because they don't want to leave. The teachers are engaged and do a good job tailoring learning to each kid. Our older child is on track to be very well prepared for kindergarten, and our younger one is developing quickly across the board. From a safety and communication standpoint, we've had 0 concerns. Staff is attentive, administration is responsive, and we've never had any issues with how the school is run day to day. The community is also a plus. Good group of kids, normal and engaged parents, and an overall positive environment. Bottom line, if you're reading older reviews, just make sure you understand they reflect a different version of this school. Based on our experience with the current team, we would absolutely recommend it.

The school notified parents that it would be closing early due to the smoke and that all children needed to be picked up by 12:00 p.m. I had a work meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. that I could not miss. I immediately contacted the school, explained my situation, and let them know I was actively trying to find someone to pick up my daughter. I have no family in town and a very limited support system. Instead of being met with understanding, I was told by Alexa that if I wasn't there by 12:00 p.m., no one would be there to watch my daughter and it would be considered child abandonment. I have attached the messages so others can read the conversation for themselves. I completely understand that emergency closures are difficult for everyone, and I respect that staff have obligations too. What I cannot understand is threatening a parent who is communicating, being transparent, and actively working to solve the problem.

My two children have been going to Children's Montessori Center for the last five years and I haven't witnessed anything discribed as what the last person has outlined - EVER! This is a high end Montessori Center and I feel my children are in a safe and clean environment. I have never walked into CMCI to find my children or anyone else's children unattended. In addition, I feel the staff is very professional and friendly. I have never witnessed any teachers EVER yelling at children or engaging in any inappropriate conversations. My children are excited to go to CMCI every day as they make learning fun. This isn't just a daycare, it's a learning center. My children learned at an early age how to write their own name, alphabet, all the presidents (in order) and continents by the time they were 3-4 years old, just to name a few. I cannot express how thankful I am to CMCI and Debbie Henry for preparing my children for grade school. I absolutely love this school and highly recommend it to anyone. You children will thrive here!

We had issues with West Valley School District and felt our only choice was private school or homeschooling. I am so glad we chose to try VCS. It has been an exceptional experience for us these past 3 years. Moving into Jr High, we see no reason to expect anything different. I'm not saying they are the only good school or that it will be the right fit for your circumstances. But, if you are researching options, they are definitely worth a look.
