So far none of them have been completed yet he charged me every week, even when wasn't done. He always claimed it was for materials and payroll. During the time Carl and his crew were working here he had excuses for 26 to 30 days that no one showed. It's always something with him. I have specific dates and excuses written down. I did the math and I've paid Carl $13,767 for some work on my porches, 3 gates, 3 ceiling fans hung (out of 7) and a few wood boards. Don't hire this guy.

We walked around and around and around the entire store trying to find someone to help us with the bath tubs and showers. Nobody could be found. There were a couple employees here and there we spotted across the aisles, but soon disappeared before we could get to them. Finally stopped by customer service to ask if anyone was working the tub/shower department....the one lady paged twice, but no luck, nobody responded. She asked what I needed and I said, "I would like to buy a tub/shower. I need it to be delivered and installed." She said, "Ok, I'm trying to get them to call me on 325." A few minutes went by and I said, "You're customer service, can I have you help me set up to have my tub/shower delivered and installed?" She said, "Yes." I'm thinking, "Well why wouldn't you say that in the beginning when you asked me what I needed?! But nonetheless." The other girl asked what day I would like it delivered. I asked if they deliver on Sunday and the other lady says, "No, I mean unless you got an extra 20 bucks." I thought about the exchange of conversation thus far and decided to end it there. I had no desire to deal with these two any longer and walked away. Home Depot, If you don't want to lose business, you might want to hire people that actually have customer service experience.

I hired him to build a house and have $10k deposit. A week later before any work or material was purchased I had to cancel. Lafoon refused to return the deposit. I could not criminal charges logged because the consumer protection laws in Tennessee are awful. I also can't sue him civilly because he has no address and cannot be served. So let my $10k loss be your gain. Mark lafoon is an awful person and a crook. You've been warned
