I was referred to Tried and True Roofing from a business that I had previously done business with. I contacted Phillip Oliver and he came by that day to measure, and gave me an estimate before he left. He was 25% of the cost of the next closest estimate, AND he was responsive thoughout! With his estimate being so low, one would be wary of the quality of workmanship. Since the business that recomended him is top notch, I had few reservations. Admittedly, much of the work that was estimated by others was unnecessary. Within 3 weeks of my first contact, my repair was COMPLETE! Phillip and his crew were professional, prompt, dedicated, hard working, efficient, and completed the work in a day and a half! They did a great job with cleanup too. He requires no money up front, and offers 100% satisfaction. I can't recommend him highly enough!

We thought we were getting anderson windows after we asked WHT type windows we are getting before signing the contract because the quote had parts and labor lumped into one price. We went from anderson windows from Lowes to united windows from lowes(came in broke) to American Craftsman window (aka plygem) from home depot. Plygem has a BBB rating F and Forbes rates them a 3 out of 5. At any time we're we notified of the change untill I did some research on the installed windows and received a small credit on the difference. Out repair went on for 3 months and the communications with the office manager was really poor. On 3 occasions we phoned her for status reports on parts, appts etc and she was going to call someone and get a call back. Not once did we receive a call back. The only communication we had was on july 3rd to schedule insallation on july 6th. All customer service is done by email, i was contesting the invoice because of the window price difference ( anderson window to plygem windows) a phone call to discuss the issues would have been appreciated. Got the quote by phone with the plan to mail me when they could get to it. Never heard anything for a couple weeks so I called them. Then Renee emailed me one Friday afternoon to see if they could come out Saturday since they had a cancellation, I missed that email. Contacted and got it rescheduled for 6-22 with them to be there at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am I called cause they never called nor showed up only to hear that they could be there within 30 minutes. I was already late for work so I cancelled. I know my job was small in comparison to some of the others that they may have but have the decency to contact any client to let them know that your a) gonna be late or b) not interested in doing the work.
