Nick and Kelly the owners of the company came back to "fix" it, however I had a lot of trouble getting them to come back after they were paid in full. They did NOT fix the issues. My walls beside the cabinets were painted, my hardwood floors had paint specs all in it as well as my kitchen counter tops. My outside porch was painted and my siding was painted at the bottom, with paint splashing on it. My white gutters was painted red on the back from being too lazy to take those off. No plastic, tape, cloth drops were used during the work that was done when they finally came. Very very very disappointing. At first when I saw the porch I thought it might look good, but after it dried,I was able to go onto it and omg... the damage. It would not come off with the stuff he told us would bring it off. My door they painted had brush strokes in it, and was chipping off the same day. They used water based paint and vitamins over top of oil paint and polyurethane. The lack of knowledge on polyurethane and paints was enough to say a lot about professionalism. The work looked as if a person had never painted before. I checked for licensing and insurance as they do advertise. In fact they do not have either. I now have thousands of dollars worth of damage. I ask for my money back because I was not satisfied, and they refused, and tried to argue with the customer. It was like adolescents dealing with their business. If you do still choose to use them, you'd better get proof of business license in their names, and insurance. It's been a nightmare for me and my Husband. They do not have license and insurance, when I checked like they advertised. Then they tried to right fake contacts that I didn't sign. Good thing I have the original that I did. They posted pictures of my home with an AI app, they clearly didn't do that good looking job.

Our anger has subsided but the disappointment and regret has not…read more Chad's carpentry and plumbing skills were adequate; his electrical work was unprofessional, dangerous, and not to code (electrical wire for the fireplace fans was cut and not properly re-connected; wires were spliced behind a wall with no junction box; and wires were spliced and sandwiched between the wood base of the (off-center) hearth and directly on carpet. We hired a qualified contractor to correct these dangerous safety issues and they will attest to this. A rotted/termite-destroyed stud was not repaired or replaced. Their drywall and Christa's painting skills were sad - nails were popping out; an electrical outlet was covered; and new drywall was not sanded smooth or primed before a very thin and uneven coat of paint was sprayed on the bare drywall. We sanded and repainted every single wall ourselves. Half-way through the project, we sent an email to CDS outlining the remaining items to be completed and/or corrected. They replied, in part: "... we are not preforming up your standards ... find another contractor..." We did. We have photos and video clips of CDS's poor workmanship to backup this review.

They patched holes and skim coated whole ceiling (we had removed popcorn after leaks). Pricing was on par/slightly less in some cases with other estimates we got. He gave us the option to get our own supplies (which was cheaper) and the supplier he suggested was great to work with. They are licensed and insured and write a fair contract to keep everyone protected. Very easy to communicate and work with. Overall job took about 3 days I think, including time to let mud dry. Consisted of 2 guys who were good steady workers. They did a solid job, not perfect but solid. Looks like nothing ever happened. If you look close around the edges you can see some imperfections. Given the state our house started in, we were very content with good but not perfect. They finished staying within estimate and also on the lower end fo the time estimate he gave me. They used caulk to clean up edges which I hadnt seen from the other drywaller we used in the past but I think everyone has a different system. We would use them again ... though hopefully we dont have anymore roof leaks -ha!
