He showed up right on time (which is a rare gem these days!), got straight to work, and made sure everything was installed safely and neatly. What really impressed me was how clean everything was when he left--you wouldn't even know work had been done, aside from the perfectly placed outlet. I'm finally able to enjoy my patio again, soaking in the tub and relaxing without having to run a cord through a window or worry about safety. I had a fantastic experience with Mr Handyman from the initial phone call to inquire for their service to the scheduling of an estimate and completion of the job. Communication was excellent. Scheduled appointments were on time and the work was completed as promised and was even better than expected. I hired them to remove, repair/replace the framing on a garage that had been badly damaged by an old termite infestation. Joe Russo and Lance Packer arrived on time. I would call other handyman for a consultation or quote and they would never show up. I would take time off work. It was so frustrating. I wanted stone tile put around my propane fireplace to make it look more aesthetic. Joe and Lance did a great job. They cleaned up after each end of day. Mr. Handyman of Johnson City came out to fix a leaky toilet we had in the downstairs bathroom. We were concerned that it was starting to ruin the floor and so when they showed up and confirmed the toilet was leaking but not ruining the floor underneath it we were so relieved. They came out, diagnosed the problem, went to the store, and fixed the problem in a couple hours. They even cleaned up after themselves you could never tell a handyman had been in our bathroom. Forty-five year-old sliding glass patio door needed its rollers replaced. I tried everything, including what info was available on the internet. My last resort -- Mr. Handyman. I called, Gary Gardner came, used a stiff, wide blade steel putty spreader, little arm strength and some technique. And the door came out. The rollers replaced, and Gary Gardner remounted the door with the same technique. I could not have done it myself, so the cost was well worth it to me (and my wife). read more
