We were referred to HD Orthodontics in May of 2023 and went in for a consultation in June 2023. Everyone at HD has been so positive and were supportive of our choice to delay treatment for our daughter for a year. I needed to wait until I was confident in her ability to properly care for her own braces with brushing. The process of getting braces on was easy for both our daughter and son. He got his on in July and the change in both their smiles has been super noticeable! Dr. Desh is so personable and engaging. Both her and her team make HD visits easy. We recommend HD to all our friends! Also, they make the financing portion simple. We have good orthodontic coverage but it did not cover everything. HD breaks payments up into a manageable monthly payment so that we didn't have to stress about having 2 kids in braces at the same time. read more

I have a few friends whose kids see Dr. Desh and have been happy with the office. As a dental hygienist myself, my office has mutual patients with this office and I've seen the product of Dr. Desh's work and it's beautiful. What really prompted me to make an appointment for my daughter was that a friend mentioned that Dr. Desh recommended a mandibular/lower expander for her son and I was interested to hear more about the appliance she used for this and hear her take on expansion. Gone are the days when orthodontists routinely jump right to extracting perfectly healthy permanent premolars to "make room" and now the field has shifted to starting treatment earlier, expanding the dental arches, and creating room for the adult teeth to file in more evenly. Dr. Desh really understands this approach, especially having gone to Penn- which is extremely impressive. She really took the time to answer all my questions, discuss different options, and her approach was honest and refreshing. I'm really confident in this office and Dr. Desh as a provider.
