Already chipped nail after less than 24 hours
    Brittany H.

This place is a joke. When I came in I had dips on my nails. For those of you who aren't familiar with dips, there are similar to gel. The need to be soaked off to prevent damaging the nail underneath. This nail tech busted out a piece of acrylic nail and started jamming it in between the dip and my nail and ripped them off. I have NEVER seen this before. When I get my dips soaked off there is no damage to my nail and they are rock hard. Having it done this way left my nails with the whole top layer missing and flimsy. Similar to having gels that you peel off yourself. There were 2 pinky nails that would not come off so the woman was forced to soak them. Which she did for all of 3 minutes which was only enough to loosen the polish not actually take the dip off. Instead of being patient and letting them soak for a few minutes more she brings out the electric nail file. She pressed so hard and used it for so long on one of my nails that it started to burn causing my to physically yank my hand away. Now my nail has a divot from her grinding away at it. To top it all off this whole experience set me back $52 dollars. I normally pay $35 plus tip, which includes an actual MANICURE and me not leaving with my nails worse off then when I arrived and they last for 3 plus weeks. We're less than 24 hours in and as you can see from the photo they are already chipping. Do yourself and your nails a solid and go anywhere else.

This was my first time to ever get a pedicure at this salon. The facility was very clean, brightly-lit, and professionally run. They had a variety of options to choose from. The staff was efficient. They also do manicures. Be aware that you cannot place tips on a credit card.

Had a great weekend visit with my hubby and another couple and stayed in cottage 2…read more Pros: -Beds were super comfy and everything was immaculately clean! -Loved having TVs throughout, plenty of pillows, a fan and heater, etc. -Breakfast served to the room daily as part of the stay in a cute picnic basket. -Parking was easy, communication with the resort was consistent and simple -Grounds were really cute! The terraces were lovely -Loved the on site restaurant being so easy to access -Towels/washcloths were plentiful and comfy Cons: -Room has a definite musty smell from water damage somewhere. All of my stuff smells musty after the visit -Hot water in a room for 4 people ran out after 2, and was luke warm for the first two. Shower head is cheap and atrocious -Breakfast order was wrong every morning despite filing out the google form as clearly as possible. The form needs revamped to be specific for each guest as existing form was clearly confusing for the kitchen / kitchen does not know how to follow instructions. We had a clear allergy that was disregarded and mixed in with the gluten free guest resulting in frustration and allergen exposure -Restaurant was good but over priced for the quality/type of food. For what we spent, a bread appetizer should be complimentary. Server was nice but hard to get her to stop at our table. $100 pre tip is a lot for a bowl of pasta, a steak, a beer, a glass of wine and some fries. -Why is it so hard to get bottled water? Requests with our breakfast were ignored, and I ended up going to get a pitcher of water from the restaurant

There is also a lovely little electric sauna which did the job. Be aware there are not full amenities here such as showers or other bath items, but there is a sauna shower where you can get a spritz. There is wine, champagne and cheese/charcuterie boards for purchase, and complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and orange peel infused water. Taryn the spa manager was welcoming and friendly. Weekday pricing was very reasonable. My only gripe was the peculiar sitting area, with a motley crew of decor. But that's a minor oversight for what was otherwise a perfect day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Geneva on the lake.
