Just moved from OC and my wife and I wanted electrical work done to our four year old house so we would be living in a place that had similar amenities like our Irvine house. We found HB electric and Eddie through Yelp. This was a first time experience with Yelp and boy did we score big when we found HB electric. Eddie and Alex were so good that we became so confident in their work we kept adding more and more projects so they had to be here for two full days. Actually their knowledge was overshadowed by the quality of their character. They're just good people and we feel we have built a relationship with them in that short time and even hated to see them go. These are some of the things we had HB ELECTRIC do for us: 1. Replaced all lights with LED lighting 2. Wired den for TV with electrical and coax 3. Wired garage for new LED work light 4. Added extra electrical receptacles in garage 5. Installed fan in workout room with wiring for wall switch 6. Installed multiple exterior motion lights with interior wall switch...it's dark in Temecula! 7. Replaced wall switches with special LED switches 8. Installed photocell, changed two exterior lights to LEDs and added wiring for these lights to the photocell outside entry door. I can guarantee that you will have a positive experience with HB electric. They are good at what they do but they are more than electricians...they are solid in their character. If you need electrical work, don't even bother looking around. HB Electric is the best! We came home from a long weekend and almost all our upstairs lights were out. I fancy myself a bit of a do it yourselfer so, armed with a flashlight and limited to no electrical experience, I opened the electrical panel to find a tripped breaker. "I got this" I thought, but resetting the breaker failed. With no more tricks in my bag I put my bruised ego aside and started calling electricians the next morning. I got a hold of Eddie with HB Electric and he was able to fit us in between appointments that very morning. Keep in mind, I called on a Monday morning at 9 am and he was able to troubleshoot and resolve the problem by 11:30 am without charging an arm and a leg! As far as I'm concerned, service doesn't get any better than that, in fact, I know a certain cell phone company that should call HB Electric for customer service training. I won't name names but let's just say it rhymes with Schmerizon. It is nice to know I have a reliable, affordable source to call for any future electrical issues without having to waste time calling around. And if I wasn't clear, their customer service is top notch! I would give them more stars on Yelp if I could. read more

HB Electric is the "go to" company for your electrical installations. "No can do" is not in this company's vocabulary. No matter how difficult, they will find a solution to your satisfaction. Eddie and associate Chip installed a security system under the most difficult circumstances based on the architecture of my house. They did it. Clean, functional and perfect. Before I called HB, I had another company try to install the same system with disastrous results. I had to terminate them on-site. Eddie and Chip worked very hard to do the job to our and their own satisfaction. They left the work spaces and premises clean and in perfect condition. Chip even patched all the hideous holes in the stucco which the other guys just left in place and with some matching paint I had at hand, Chip masterfully feathered in the new paint with the existing. Words cannot do justice for the quality of work and professionalism HB Electric provides. We recently hired HB Electric to upgrade the existing 225amp service panel to a 400 amp panel. On the first day of the upgrade, SCE failed to show up to shut down power and change the meter due to a scheduling error on their end. Instead of wasting the day, Matt and Josh battled the heat and accomplished as much as they could to prepare for actual installation of the larger panel. Matt diligently called SCE to reschedule the meter swap and kept his schedule flexible to accommodate SCE. When SCE finally came out to swap the meter and shut down power, Matt, Josh and Dom worked efficiently to finish the panel upgrade in two days time. The finished panel looks great and blends in seamlessly with the wall. I can't thank them enough for all the work and attention to detail they put in to this installation. We recently moved from the Bay Area, and into a home in Murrieta. We were not used to triple digit temperatures, and promptly went out and purchased ceiling fans for every room in the house. Since we did not know any local electricians, we relied upon reading reviews. After seeing many recent excellent reviews for HB, we gave them a call. Eddie is simply the BEST for any electrical work. We have used Eddie several times since we moved to this area last December. He does AMAZING work on projects large and small. He installed several differenent kinds of celing lights, added a transformer for flag pole lighting, fixed yard lights, hung two huge lights in very hard to reach spaces, repaired numerous "little things", fixed an attic fan, and the list goes on! Eddie listened to my problems and basic diagnostic that I had done and was able to give a pretty accurate diagnosis and came out the same day to fix.
