Current Power Electric and Rob saved the day for me with an electrical problem that appeared in the middle of a kitchen counter replacement project in a newly purchased home. It happened during the year end holiday season and Rob was the only electrician who would even call me back. I was in a panic. He walked me through the options and helped me figure out what to do until he could get someone out when they became available after the holiday. He helped me prevent a shut down of the counter work and promptly followed-up after the holiday. The problem is now resolved and work was done in a very neat, professional manner. Especially in light of Rob's generous help during the holidays and his follow-up, the price was reasonable and fair. I was impressed with Rob and his team. read more

I had a bathroom vent/light that stopped working, well at least the vent stopped working. Ryan showed up and was very professional. He got right to work and had my new vent/light (I had purchased on Amazon) replaced, up and running in no time at all. Ryan cleaned up his tools and left my bathroom like he was never there. Great work at a reasonable price. read more

This is the second time we called out Current Power Electric and they were great once again! We needed to have an old fan taken down and a new one installed. Jeremy right away told us we needed a fan box and once that went in the fan was an easy install. We were grateful to know the former install was not done properly and Current Power Electric does not cut corners and wants everyone to be safe. We also requested a quote for a new line to be installed for a commercial treadmill we've purchased. Stay tuned for the next review! Hire these professionals- they will not disappoint and will be very fair with the price! read more

I don't think I've had a better experience with an electrical company. We were in need of electrical service for our kitchen renovation & needed to switch out outlets, add under cabinet lights, install a chandelier in my living room, and add light fixtures in various rooms throughout my home. Rob was very detailed in explaining what was needed and what our options were. He was very thorough in advising what our issues were and his amazing team completed the work precisely. Ryan & Roger came out and were professional, curteous, knowledgeable. Tracy was absolutely wonderful in scheduling the guys to come out around my hectic work schedule, answering my million questions, and really taking the time out to ensure all of our needs were met. 5-star service all the way. We definitely will utilize current power electric in the future! Thank you to Rob for ensuring your team is high quality and top notch! read more

I am going to make it clear this time, that my review is regarding the RMO of the company Robert Alvarez. I have checks to Mr. Alvarez. I have a check from --"Current Power Electric, Inc"-- refunding the amount to cover the damage. He also operated under "The Electric Man" and "The Solar Spot". It seems linking to the other review was a problem so now am reposting this without the link. I will keep this updated if more threats or actions are attempted. An apology for everything done and what I had to go through would have made things much better than the threats and at least I would have updated the review to reflect that. Bad experience. The contractor attempted to get back at me when held him accountable, he did not follow the contract, and had other issues with the work I found after having it inspected by third parties. I have the inspection reports. I have the letter I was sent of the threats over a valid issue. - The area where the tiles were gone was immediately after install - It was stated that the roofing would go to the tiles, look at the pictures this did not occur. - I was promised drywall, but left with what was in the photo. - Did not get the correct inverter I was promised - He failed the inspection TWICE and charged me EXTRA for *code compliance* and well ABOVE THE AVERAGE RATE for what was performed. ** Even after me he had installs that had code issues that needed revision that I found with a permit search. *He was flagged in building review for not having the proper amperage on components --Just like one of the things the checking contractor flagged in my install that was not correct on my install--. The city missed this, but I have the report from the contractor that did the inspection. It's not the same components, but the same issue of amperage. *Also, there was one where he was flagged for not pulling all the proper permits (Records state that a panel permit was needed). * I have the permits for reference if needed. read more

At first we were very happy with service and promptness in getting things fixed and ready to go. It wasn't till the day of that things went completely wrong. There were supposed to be multiple employees working on our electrical. They were suppose to arrive @ 6am, and I made it clear we needed it done before 10 am, because the business had to be open that day. The owner told me it would be done in 2 1/2-3 hours. Well after waking up at 4:30am & getting my 7 year old ready for school I show up at the business and they aren't here. I'm calling them and nothing. Finally we get in touch and I'm being told that they are running late. Which wouldn't have been a big deal if they would have said something earlier. The electrician didn't end up showing up till almost 8am, and the work wasn't done till after 10. So we had to stay closed for the day, and lose money. No apology, nothing to try to make it right. It was such a stressful morning for us because communication was lacking big time. So I ignored their calls and made them wait on payment with no explanation.. just like they had me wait. We were very disappointed with their communication. read more

There is not enough I can say about this company! My electric panel was not doing it's job, I was in a time crunch and they swooped in to fix the problem in less then 24hours! They were kind, respectful and very cost efficient. They worked with me to make sure the job was done! In times of Covid we can see the greed and selfishness come out of people... but today I only saw love and compassion. Thank you again for helping me out read more

I called them because we had a slight electric emergency being one of our refrigerators is hooked up to a gfi that keeps popping out. Our gfi prob needs to be changed soon. And the breaker wasn't even popping back in. He guided me through some steps to save me money until we get the gfi switched out which I was finally able to get the gfi back working. Thank you. If I couldn't he had someone to come over within 30 min! Great service! read more

Well, this company will surely be prompt at the beginning and even come out and treat you like gold to start. They will tell you everything you want to hear and take your money quickly and do a pretty good job. However, if you have ANY issues that need to be addressed after the initial work, FORGET IT. They will not return your calls and they will not even come back for a small, simple punch-list of things that got missed. Frustrating!!!!!!! read more
