Hi everyone, Scott did a good job and we ran into some problems, we only were able to do about 1/2 the project, yes he spent a couple hours trying to run wire but he was unable to get it done so we only did 1/2 of what I wanted done. The problem was at the end of the project he hit me up with an additional $300 bill. He did give me an estimate and some of the items on the estimate he didn't use, he explained that he used more items he put on the estimate BUT I didn't like the way he hit me up. Highly recommend GEN 4! We contacted multiple electricians about installing our outdoor Ring Floodlight Pro Wired cameras in our front yard and backyard. We were getting so many different responses and a lot of "it depends" and a wide range of quotes. So the wife and I decided to make a difference with the environment and saving money on gas and went all electric for our new vehicle. We wanted to install a Level 2 charger in our garage to speed up the charge times in between our drives. We used yelp to find an electrician who could do the job. We sent out a request to over 6 electricians. We did get an excellent response for all of them but Scott at Gen 4 Electric responded immediately and even suggested models of chargers we should look at. His recommendation i researched on yelp and he saved me over 120 on a model I was going to buy based on amazon reviews. We had time the day before thanksgiving to have it installed and Scott said he could get the job done, and was the lowest quote of all the other companies. About 1/2 before his arrival he got a flat on his truck. He called us from the tire store and said he would be there no matter what and he definitely kept his word. When he arrived he was very professional and a genuine guy. When he looked in my garage he determined that I had already an outlet that could be converted to 240v, and said he would reduce his charge by 30 dollars. I am not electrical savvy, give me a turbine driven aircraft and I can tell you about it all day long. Scott could have taken advantage and not discounted the price but he didn't. I was grateful for his honesty and had offered to split the 30 difference. Scott would not have it and gave us the discount. I attempted to use the charger but had pressed an incorrect series of buttons and the system froze. He could have just left, but stayed the extra time so got the charger working perfectly. This is a very trustworthy contractor and I would recommend his business 100%. He even finished early on the project so I could make a an appointment on time. A++ for Gen 4 Electric.
