Very hard to review this company. I tried three ways to get ahold of them, after seeing their positive reviews. Via internet, via email, via phone. Finally by phone, I was able to make an appt after 24 hours. An employee came out, not Robert, spent a smidge over an hour. I was charged for 2 hours. But the amt charged didn't add up. ($85 to come out, $75 for the next hour, which equals $160, but I was charged $190.) After another email, they deducted the price to $100 with no explanation as to why the overcharges or why the non-responses. I decided to not go with them (the quote to fix our problem was high), so I cannot comment on their work, just their customer service. I do not prefer to leave negative reviews, but that's why Yelp is here, to give customers a realistic view of other's services. Current Power Electric is super fast and provided excellent customer service in getting our panel upgraded. My husband and I worked with Tracii and her team and they did an excellent job. They called frequently with updates and let us know exactly what was going on and what was being done to our panel. My lights went out in my bathroom and my office. I gave a call to Current Power Electric and Kelly answered the phone and promptly transferred me to Robert. Robert was so helpful and walked me through the process and out of nowhere my lights were back on. One thing I enjoyed about Robert is his positive attitude and his willingness to help me. After all, he didn't have to walk me through the process, nor did he charge me. And then once all that was finalized, he even recommended me to a plumber, since I mentioned I had plumbing issues. I had issue with the Temecula Glass company. The window company hired Robert from Current Power Electric. Robert saw the Romex with screw hole in the middle. The Black wire cover was damaged and he said "Leaving exposed hot wire in the wall is not a fire hazard" It was very clear that the window screw put in by Temecula Glass caused my electric short. He pointed out an other wiring problem that not up to code that was not causing this issue. He kept talking about unrelated issues with this short while we were arguing about window company's responsibility. The fault was very clearly on window company's side. I wish he had pride to be a professional electrician and not supporting Temecula Glass. read more

Robert Did a fantastic job! I needed a electrical outlet for my new EV (Nema 15/50). I have never worked with an electrician before, but I got to say if they operate like Robert than I can't imagine a problem. I quoted this out to another guy and for some reason he could not do the work. The main problem was the sub panel. I live in a Town Home where I do not have direct control of the Panel and my stuff is sent to a sub panel in the upstairs part of the town home. I contacted Robert to get a second opinion, and he said he had bad news to where I would have to replace the sub panel, but it was doable. I was ecstatic it could be done, because super charging while free at the mall begins to become a drag when you have to go there every night. His guys arrived on time and ready to work, The drop they made was professionally done. He even paid to have the drywall done for the panel, and in addition he had a guy that was pretty affordable to do the rest of the work. I was amazed that his team was able to get done with the project in about 5 hours. His pricing was exact and there were no surprises. I will be recommending his company to others, and will be using his services in the future if I need electrical work. Robert is an excellent communicator and answered my questions in a timely manner until the project was completed. We had the ceiling fan in our master stop working at the same time as a light in our master bedroom closet. I wasn't sure if it was related or not, but I had Current Power & Electric come out to be sure we didn't have an electrical issue. I also purchased a new ceiling fan in case it was not the electrical line, but a bad ceiling fan, so I could have them install it while they were there. Robert showed up at the time they said he would, and thankfully he was able to determine it was a bad light and a bad fan....not a huge electrical issue. I had him install the ceiling fan while he was there and everything is working perfectly now. We have used Current Power Electric twice now and it is a great company! The first time was in September 2020 when we needed to have a GFI receptacle and GFI breaker installed at the pool pump, outdoor lighting and a material photo eye. The work was excellent. Robert suggested the material photo eye and our outdoor lights turn on at dusk and off at dawn. It is a nice enhancement for lighting purposes and security. One of the outdoor lights was cracked and we returned to the store and Current Power came out to reinstall at no charge! We contacted Current Power Electric again in November 2020 to replace an outdoor floodlight, bathroom lights and replace receptacles. One of the bathroom light fixtures was not the right type and we had to purchase another light. Robert indicated once we purchased another light just contact them and they will return and install at a fair price. This is indicative of Current Power Electric, pricing is fair and competitive and great customer service. We hired them to wire up a sub panel for our solar system and his bid was originally for a decent price and would take no more than a day and a half to 2 days tops. When the two men arrived they started installing in the wrong area and not per the plans so they wasted 6-8 hours doing that and fixing their work to get themselves on the right track. So then they were going well but it eventually took 3 full days and then he try's to tell me I owe him a change order for more than double his original estimate and never told us about this until the job was done. Pretty shady way to do business. I would not hire them or recommend them to anyone. They do not conduct business professionally and try to get extra money for their errors. This is a lesson get a contract read it and make sure there is a clause in there about change orders and they cannot be done unless it is presented in writing and you both agree on the change order amount.
