I ordered a particular cake for my birthday. I changed to a simpler, less expensive design about a week before the big day. She issued me a store credit for the difference. Upon picking the cake up, it was not the cake I had designed. I'm not sure how she managed to screw that up. She had a description and a drawing that she herself wrote/drew out as we discussed it. She credited $25 to my card. Hardly a fair compensation for the disappointment. Though this is the second time she has screwed up an order for me, I wasn't yet ready to give up. I then placed an order for my son's cake but could only pick it up on a Sunday morning. She refused to allow it. She specially told me that she was not be available after 8am on that Sunday which led me to believe if it were any other Sunday, she'd be open to it. I told her I would gladly pick it up well before 8am. She refused. I do understand that she has business hours that do not include a Sunday but considering the fact that she so irresponsibly messed up my birthday cake, I would have expected her to accommodate me in this small way. When I requested reimbursement for the store credit, she again refused. Why she would insist on forcing a dissatisfied customer to continue to do business with her is beyond me but so be it. I strongly advise anyone thinking of doing business here to consider another bakery or at least have a backup. As I said, she has screwed up two orders for me and in my opinion, did not do enough to make it right.

It was perfectly sweet with a crispy topping. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust came off more like a shortbread crust. I enjoyed it, but I do wonder what a graham cracker crust would have been like for that pie. Traditionally it it's not normally done with graham cracker. Overall, I understand the hype of flying saucer pie company. They really do have delicious pies. One thing you can do is donate a slice or donate a pie you pay for it upfront and it's saved for a family or child in need . I love being given an option to give back.
