For $15 they were pretty, but they were heavy and you could definitely tell they were fake. When I say heavy, I mean I was rocking the Quasimodo look 24/7. I wanted lashes for my trip to Costa Rica, I also don't spend a lot of money on luxuries like eyelashes. But I wanted to see if the more expensive ones were worth it. I was leaving for Costa Rica on Thursday night and Thursday day was the only time I had to get them done. I had bought a Groupon for another lash studio, but when I called to make an appointment, they didn't have anything open. So it's now Wednesday, and I had put out voicemails and texts to different places but it was not looking good. Finally, I got a call back from Nusheen, she left a voiemail saying she could see me on Thursday afternoon, which was perfect! I was at work, so I text her. She answered promptly, I told her my situation and she said she would honor her Groupon price for me! She was very kind and understanding and setting the appointment was a breeze! She told me what to do before I got there and that it would take about 2 hours. Boom. Done. The Appointment: Her studio is very easy to find, parking was easy (on a Thursday at noon). It's on a residential street, which I wasn't expecting, but it was cool. When I opened the door, it was a cozy set up with ambient music playing. She was very friendly and professional from the moment I walked in. After filling out the paperwork, I laid down on the table and she got to work. I've never had my lashes done like this before so I had no idea what I wanted. I told her I was a blank canvas, and to do whatever she thought would look good on me. She took her time and I could barely feel the ashes being put on. Between the music and her gentle work, I actually fell asleep a couple of times. She finally finished and oh my gosh, they were GORGEOUS! I couldn't even feel them and they looked sooo natural. You just couldn't talk to me I was looking too good! She gave me a paper on how to care for my lashes, gave me some quick advice and she even gave me a cute little pink lash brush! So from setting the appointment, to parking, to Nusheen's hospitality, to the experience itself: Nusheen is definitely Aces in my book! I am so in love with these lashes, she will definitely be my go-to Lash Artist from now on!

So when a co worker of mine who turned into a good friend of mine informed me that his beautiful sweet girlfriend does lash extensions I was convinced . I was even more convinced when he showed me her work on Instagram. So my birthday was coming up and I schedule my first appointment with her. Literally EVERYTHING from presentation of her set up, to the customer service she provided, all the way up to her work was OUTSTANDING! Even her and her family were just the sweetest. Playing with my smallest son keeping him entertained while I was being worked on. Offering us food since they had just barbecued. Literally made us feel so welcomed like being surrounded by family. She really does go above and beyond for her clients. She made me feel very comfortable while working on me like if she was one of my girlfriends I've known for years. I explained to her exactly what look I wanted to achieve and my baby girl left me feeling SHOOK! Came out exactly how I wanted them. I didn't need any makeup at all while I had my extensions. That's how confident they made me feel. To top it all off the retention on these bad boys are impeccable . They lasted me almost an entire month before I needed another fill. And that's with following the Instructions Candace had gave me and taking very good care of them as well. After my first visit I wouldn't trust going anywhere else. (you shouldn't shower for 24 hours, never get them wet, brush them daily, etc) also my first set took about 45 mins which is a regular amount of time! She even gave me a spoolie brush to make sure that I keep them combed and nice. Getting my refill tomorrow and my hair done and I'm so excited! She's super nice and takes her time!!
