Ed came over, investigated the situation, located some replacement parts for the aging vent and replaced the broken parts which are no longer available as a direct part replacement. We are having a big renovation project done at our house, and purchased all high-end kitchen appliances from Haywood. We also purchased the top tier Speed Queen washer/dryer. Two weeks after delivery our clothes came out with snags. Two pair of men's dress pants are completely ruined. Other clothes have small snags all over. We discovered a metal burr sticking out between where the tub drum meets the base. When the service professional came, he stated that he had never seen a Speed Queen drum like that before. Haywood said they would replace the drum. We asked for a replacement machine and were denied, even though we have made such large purchases from them. We feel that this washer was not inspected properly, because it would not have passed. It makes us wonder what other problems will occur later. They informed us that they would not reimburse for the clothes nor have they offered reimbursement for the expense for the laundromat, even after spending $1500 on a washer! We are sure that no employee at Haywood would accept this washer. Therefore, a customer should not be forced to do so. I sure hope they stand behind the kitchen appliances! read more

I recently sold my home and learned that I had an issue with my microwave. I called Haywood Appliance for a repair. I stated that I was selling my home and wanted to pay in advance of closing. They sent me an invoice for $262.00. I thought that was a bit steep for a microwave repair but I paid it right away thinking everything was complete. Imagine my surprise when they sent me another bill for $149.00. It took their tech about 5 minutes to perform the repair. They have very deceptive pricing. If I had known I had a $400 issue I would have just bought a new microwave. Watch out. This place is a rip off. read more

I would leave a NEGATIVE 1 if I could. I have an active leak I just discovered that is coming from my refrigerator or dishwasher (Maytag). Haywood Appliance is an authorized repair agent. I left a message. A Jennifer returned my voice mail to let me know at this time they only service appliances that were purchased from Haywood Appliance. What kind of nonsense is this? My next call to Maytag. I can tell you this much, next time I am in the market for new appliances Haywood Appliance will not be on my list. I called at 8:57 AM Monday morning and got the answer machine. I left a message that my microwave/convection oven was not working. Over an hour later I called back and the lady answered the phone told me the lady That did the schedule was busy with other call and that she would call me back. Another hour later she called back. I explained my situation and was told they only worked on appliances that they had sold. Nowhere in their advertising did I see this. She said they were just to busy. She gave me the number for GE Service but that was a total waist of time. read more

Reached out to find a bisque refrigerator. Cindy informed me they had a wire-shelf tiny one with no ice maker that they would not deliver. When I had no interest in that, she was unwilling to try to find anything else or order one because we're not new construction. She was pretty rude too. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Worst company ever. They sent notices of intent to file a mechanics lien against our condo for balances that were owed by the construction company, not us homeowners. I never authorized them to do any work in my unit after I closed and nor will I pay a bill for something someone else is responsible for. My attorney has advised that they have no legal rights and cannot put a lien against my home. Furthermore, they also tried to pull this BS during the COVID 19 pandemic. HOW INSENSITIVE. RIP OFF!! SCAM!! Placed order for $7900 of appliances. Haywood charges your credit card at the time of order placement and they have all of the money until all the products ships complete (in my case it was 4 weeks estimated). Three separate times they told me that the order total that they gave me was not correct and they could not issue me credit until the order was complete. Another method to delay giving you back the money that they owe you. Jack Hall and Cameron Hartin (store manager) were completely uncooperative. i had to cancel the order. Will never do business with Haywood again. Thank god I got my money back before they were able to screw me again. read more

Terrible customer service. We wanted to shop local but our experience left us thinking we would have been better off purchasing online. No calls when they were not able to deliver on-time. I had to keep calling them. They misinformed us about the Bosch rebate program. We bought over 20k in appliances from them. The saleswoman treated us like they were doing us a favor. read more

I waited three weeks for my appliances and when they arrived, they were the wrong color. The salesperson and the manager refused to take responsibility for the error. They went as far as to say it was possibly my error. A strange theory as I have no access to their ordering system. I don't mind if someone makes a mistake. I mind terribly when that person won't own up to it. This was a huge waste of my time and they treated me like a pebble in their shoe. There were clearly more important customers. They gave us the information we needed to easily replace our old JennAir downdraft cooktop and were very fair in their installation pricing, much more fair than some other stores that sell that product. We bought a high end oven from Haywood Appliance based on their promise to provide service for it. Once the oven arrived, they informed us that they would only deliver it to our home and that we would have to find someone to hook up the gas, which we did. The oven would not heat properly so we called Haywood and they said they would have to check and see it it was covered by the warranty. The oven was less then 24 hours old! They finally did send a serviceman two weeks later who arrived with out the tools needed to calibrate the oven temp (It was a screw-driver!). We provided him with a screwdriver and he "fixed" the oven. He also put the knob back on upside down. We discovered this after he left and also discovered that the oven door was not aligned properly and the oven was not level. All of these items should have been taken care of by Haywood Appliance at the time the oven was delivered. The service department never answers the phone, you always have to leave a message. It then takes two days to get them to tell you when an appointment will be available. So you are looking at about a week every time. The second time the serviceman cancelled the appointment because we fixed the door ourselves (but the oven still needed leveling, recalibration and the knob being fixed). He didn't bother to tell us he cancelled the appointment, we had to call them (and leave a message of course) to find out why he was a no-show. He then claimed none of this was his problem because Haywood didn't install the oven. Not one iota of concern from the company that the oven they sold us did not function properly. But lots and lots of excuses. read more
