I work with Rob Schmid at the store and always feel like I'm getting helpful advice about my photography hobby rather than a sales pitch. This is the perfect place if you want to give a professional touch to your photos. I contacted Jack…read moreafter looking at Yelp suggestions and he turned out to be the exact person I was looking for. I would strongly recommend this place to everyone. I had a photo in a book, which I wanted to scan with a high resolution scanner so that I can make it three times larger. Also, I wanted to do touch up to make the photo more appealing. I would say, Doorstep Digital did a fantastic job for me. The image after touch up looked much more beautiful and it was of very high quality. Jack and his team are very professional at whatever they do. In addition, the price is very reasonable. I would strongly recommend it.

I asked about a 16-25mm lens for my Sony. Lo and behold they had it in stock. On top of that I actually had a coupon from a Sony event a couple days before and it came in handy! Gotta love those savings. This is the first time to go to any Mike's Camera and the experience did not disappoint. I'll have to return and spend a little more time running around. I still have a tripod, filters and a couple more accessories on my list. Whether you're looking for a professional camera or a point and shoot, this is the place to go. They also offer classes and workshops so I'm definitely checking those out soon! Thanks again!

I gave…read moreMatt a little over a month to document my work, give me proofs, and then create prints for an upcoming show. At first he told me he could have proofs for me in a few days to come and look at, and then we could move on to doing prints. Then a week went by and I emailed him; I got no response, so I called him. He said he didn't have anything for me but again he would have them for me in a couple of days, and basically told me not to call him, and that he would call me or email me when he had some proofs for me to look at. Finally 10 days before my show I decided to show up unannounced and see if he had done any work at all. Guess what, he had not. He had simply not done any of the things at all that I had hired him to do and repeatedly lied to me to keep me off his back. I'm livid, and he seriously set me back with his lack of professionalism. I wanted to get my paintings out of there in case they magically disappeared, but I was thinking that if he had at least done the documentation (taken photos under controlled settings), then I would give him a chance to get the prints done. But he had simply done nothing at all and lied to me over and over again and left me high and dry 10 days before the biggest group show I've ever had with almost 1000 people in attendance. Thanks Matt.

They have potentially the worst customer service I have experienced in Denver since I've lived here. They rent camera equipment. And have really really intricate processes for doing so. THAT, I do not mind. A process is a process. But when enforcing said process - a few baseline people skills on how to treat other humans might be of value. I'm guessing that an industry like this probably benefits from word of mouth support. If they treat customers the way we experienced today (and on the phone originally trying to set up the reservation) - I can only imagine they fail at getting this support. Bottom Line: Rent somewhere else. Like Cinema Shot (they took great care of us after we left this place).
