Super impressed with David and the crew with the job they did finishing my 150 foot long driveway…read more They showed up exactly when they said they would and walked me around the project to ensure things were being done exactly how I wanted them to be. January 13th 2026 David Keller showed up soliciting at our gate, I guess he had some left over…read morematerials from another job site that he was trying to sell off so he gave my neighbor and I a good deal on the crushed asphalt. He laid most of it and next day came back to finish the job. As my driveway was mostly sugar sand and we have a bit of a hill on it, I asked him TWICE whether we needed to do any drainage (since we didn't even do any base or rocks before laying the asphalt) He assured me it would be fine, that I "just needed to drive on it to compact it". Sure enough, 3 weeks later the first heavy rain eroded the driveway creating huge ruts on the crushed asphalt. When I called David to ask him to come back so he could assess the damage and we could come up with a plan he said he'd come by "next Friday or Saturday" and has been ghosting me since. So much for the "deal", lesson learned I suppose!

After seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to still go with them and I'm glad we did! Quality workmanship, professional and courteous crew, work completed in the estimated time, took extra care to minimize dust, cleaned up after themselves daily. We had tuckpointing done on both our bricks and the larger masonry stones around the foundation, with 2 sides of the house needing solid tuckpointing and the other 2 needing spot tuckpointing. We also had KCB do new waterproofing/sealant around the expansion joints, had the wall to the walkout basement stairwell demolished and restacked, and had the deteriorating concrete slab under the sunroom replaced. The crew did a great job on all of it and KCB was even able to set up the supports to the sunroom while they worked so that I didn't have to hire a second company to do that portion. Very happy with all the work done and the price was outstanding. Will be using KCB again for any future tuckpointing needs.

We desperately needed gutter guards for our homes. I'm skeptical of high-pressure sales people and…read moreoverpriced products, so I called for bids from a handyman, 2 local roofing companies (who offered a few types of products), as well as the #1 rated company by Consumer Reports. Handyman only put on a screen product that we were concerned would clog with the massive amount of catkins we have from an old oak. One roofing guy insisted on scheduling my appointment for Saturday AM instead of during a weekday, and then when he called to confirm, also confirmed whether my husband would be here. When I said no, he tried to reschedule. He insisted we both be here, so he was off the list. The second roofing guy did a drive by and called and explained the different products they had, and which he'd recommend. The GH rep (Darrell) came out to meet with me, explained their system without belaboring or overselling, and answered all of my questions. He gave local references, one of whom was a friend who's had GHs for 15 years (and lives on a property with lots of trees), and said he's never had an issue and has never done a thing to them. The bid was about $400 higher than the roofing company's bid, but for a lifetime warranty on a product that's been around a long time, we went for it. They installed within 3 weeks of receiving our deposit (earlier than promised), and the workmen were polite, punctual, and left no trace of themselves! Very satisfied...just waiting for fall!
