OMG just looking at these pictures is making me crave it again definitely worth the experience. It's different you order by the ounces its precut. The toppingsg are seperate. The wait staff seems pretty accomodating. They help you out and they aren't dressed up so you don't feel like you are under dressed. The inside of the restaurant feels like a upscale pub, which I love. The bloody mary and limonata was really good. Cream spinach and yorkshire pudding. I definitely recommend this place. Try not to eat your way towards here. You are surrounded by a foodie market so you might get distracted. The dessert was awesome.

I stopped in for a mid-afternoon solo lunch, after landing from an international flight. I was able to get a table right away. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and struck just the right balance. I ordered a glass of rosé and the Sunday roast meal, both of which came out quickly enough. The meal was delicious - it was a huge portion, but everything was cooked well and just what I was looking for. I also appreciate that they had a good portion of veggies on the plate. The server also offered & brought out some horseradish alongside the gravy, which was delicious. The clientele was also a mix of tourists & locals, which always feels like a good sign. Highly recommend Hawksmoor for a classic British meal!

Solid restaurant. One of the better steakhouses in London. Had the ribeye, apps and drinks. Service was flawless and ambience was great. Our food was slightly warm though cooked perfectly.

Absolutely amazing service and ambiance. Our server was very attentive and graceful. Adding in her expert opinions when we asked. We reserved online in the bar area, in which we actually got a table, pleasantly surprised. There were many other tables in the bar area/room and another separate dining room. We liked the feeling of the front bar area and glad we got a nice table. We ordered two ribeye medium rare steaks for both of us with the bone marrow gravy (must get) along with Mac n cheese (didn't love the blue cheese they used), mashed potatoes. And a bottle of red wine. The steaks could have been cooked with a little more love, as my partner said, but overall quality was great. He has been to the chain before and had better steak experiences so maybe the chef changed. The dessert was the best, with a chocolate mousse dome with ice cream and a surprise bon voyage chocolate ice cream.

This is the smoked salmon appetizer we ordered

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to try Hawksmoor. We were pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was perfect! We loved the service as well. We started our meal with the smoked salmon. I ordered a T-bone steak, and my wife had the filet mignon. We ordered sides of macaroni and cheese and the creamed spinach. The food was amazing!! Everything was perfectly prepared and I must say that this was our best meal while visiting London. The only downside is that all of this will cost you a pretty penny. $$$ Our bill came out to a little over $290.00 USD.

This was our splurge meal in London, and for the price, it let us down. Service was great, but the £100 porterhouse was burnt.

We came here with friends while visiting London and it was phenomenal! The scallop appetizer and crab was probably the best I've ever had. I had the whole lobster, cream spinach, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes for my main entree. It was four of us having dinner and everyone loved their meals except my husband he got the ribeye. He did not think it was the correct cut but decided not to make the waitress aware. The location is in the Borough Market which was a great experience to check out.

Chill place to meet someone for drinks or have a relaxed group dinner. Nothing to write home about but for the price, it's not bad.

No stars deducted because bone marrow just isn't our thing, We ordered the buttery English salad, the chateaubriand, and the triple cooked chips.

FRIES WITH TRUFFLE CHEESE The fries weren't as crispy as I would've liked, but the soft bite similar to mashed potatoes was pretty good. The cheese itself really carried the rich flavors of the truffle without overwhelming your tastebuds. Such a decadent cheese. SALT AND PEPPER SQUID The squid meat itself wasn't over cooked which is easy to do and makes it feel like you're chewing on a tire. Not the case here. The squid was fried perfectly, nice and crispy first bite. The garlic aioli complimented the batter they used to fry the squid in, very tasty. PEKING DUCK LETTUCE WRAPS These lettuce wraps were the perfect two bites sized appetizers. Such a flavorful and well cooked duck. The cucumber salad and lettuce helped bring the intensity of flavors down so that you could enjoy every bite. There's a full bar, but service is a little slow and congested. Staff are really nice and friendly. The dart games are so involved where each player can have their selfie taken and name displayed on the board. You can compete as teams or against each other depending on your chosen game. At the end, there is a final game stats to show who won and a group photo to conclude all the fun. A fantastic way to test out your dart skills and have fun with your loved ones!

Maybe it was…read morebecause it was kind of (not really) late and there weren't many other places open (aside from the first place we tried across the street who told us the kitchen was closed even though they were open for another 3 hours) but the place was packed! And it was loud. I guess technically it was a darts place and so there was a lot of excitement near the dartboard area. The bar staff were all buzzing about shaking their shakers and pouring drinks. It was a great vibe - apropos for a Friday night. Ok we got the little bit lychee drink (subbed vodka for gin) which was excellent with what looked like a dark dahlia floating on top. I wanted to try a British beer and got the magic rock saucery session pale ale (saying its name is like a built in sobriety test). The ale was definitely IPA but with a really clean finish. And because I'm a pig, ordered the fries with truffle cheese. Wow that was so so good! Shoestring fries with a heavy drizzle of truffle melted cheese. I can't really complain about the super loud music since it probably suited the main clientele and was really good (club versions of many 80s songs). So it looks like a really fun joint for the young locals with some older folks who maybe stumbled in like we did. Really nice bartenders and front staff. Thanks for not giving us a BS line to keep us out like the other place.

Came here for pre-theater anniversary dinner with my wife. The ambiance was somewhere between that of a trendy club and nice bar. There was a mad scientist vibe with the lights being industrial vibe and some metal decor. The music was thumpy and loud enough to remind you it was there. It made me feel a bit out-of-place as somebody well past my 20s, but also a bit cool or being there. You really come here for the drinks. We got the pipe dream, smokey old fashioned, honeypot picante, and one other I can't remember the name of, but which came in a flower pot. The pipe dream and smokey old fashioned were likely the best. Overall the drinks were more visually appealing than traditionally good and the visually appealing ones tended to have ingredients that weren't as top shelf and/or they were just too sweet. Not bad, but disappointing for what we'd hope. The food was the opposite. I had low expectations and the food wasn't amazing, but was better than average. We got the bao buns, crispy duck pancakes, panko halloumi, katsu curry, and hot honey pork tacos. They arranged for it all to come out in time for us to make our theater show, which was nice. The bao buns and pork tacos were probably the best. Neither blew me away, but both were solid. The katsu curry and halloumi were standard of what you might expect. The crispy duck pancakes was maybe as advertised, but it would have been nice to have some moistness or substance to the dug vs. it basically being crunchy salty bits of something. Overall, this wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. We may be back, but we'll probably try other things first.
