As a cherry on top to this fabulous experience, my toddlers got to pick a delicious Fuji apple from Beckie's farm. Wowow, what a fun and unique adventure! Tickets for the lavender bloom are seasonal and opening dates can vary based on the timing of the bloom each year. They do a great job of posting their bloom updates and open hours. Buy entry tickets in advance and be ready to show them on your phone. On the day I visited, they had a local coffee vendor who was serving lavender infused products and some local makers on site. The farm is not far from the Sacramento and Folsom areas and you can spend the day visiting other local growers or businesses not too far away. What I really enjoyed about the farm were their strategically placed benches and lawns. You can sit in the shade and enjoy the fields from afar after taking time to walk directly through them. Photo ops abound! There's also a farm barn with their wonderful products such as lotions, soaps and culinary items made from their own lavender. If you missed their opening in 2024, be sure to check them out in next year's bloom. Such a pretty and peaceful place!

Well, their umbrellas were NOT secured, there was a strong gust of wind that lifted the heavy umbrella out from the table, knocked-over drinks, spilled drinks on my girlfriend and our food, the umbrella could have hit and injured her and their response was just "Are you okay?" AFTER I asked my girlfriend if she was alright. No "was anything damaged?" or "Can I get you a towell, or at least replace your drinks?" No, they just took the umbrellas away in a golf cart. Thanks for the mess, the ruined food, spilled drinks from your unsecured umbrellas, and not offering to compensate us at all.

The strawberry farm is family owned and located not too far from other businesses in the area if you wanted to find something to eat or find somewhere else to hang out afterwards. There was a food truck, Laopino, that had delicious lumpias, music, a bubble machine, plus a few games and activities to keep the little ones occupied, and shaded tables to enjoy your fresh harvests. :) Tickets are only available online. Weekend tickets are released on Thursdays at 7 pm. When choosing our date and time it shows we only had an hour to pick but really we got to take our time and enjoy our morning. I feel they show you have a one hour slot to help stagger guests in. I love how they had a little gift shop set up, another tent with fresh flowers, drinks, and beautiful cookies at the register to purchase. The strawberry fields had plenty to choose from. We saw lots of bright red ones varying from all sizes. The staff also informed us there were 6 types of strawberries being grown! My kids enjoyed only for a short while and mainly wanted to stay in the kid area. There are also plenty of photo ops on the farm too! We would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend!

On the day we went (reservation on a Saturday from 10-11am) the cost for adults was $12 per person. This includes a small basket per person. They offer 6 different varieties of strawberries, yup you read that right. I had no idea there were more than one variety, so this educational part was cool. The farm can get crowded and with this Sac heat, I highly recommend scheduling your reservation early and on a weekday. The farm is family owned and everyone is so nice. Would absolutely recommend this idea to families with your kiddos.

One difficulty is that there is no restroom, not even a portapotty. Given the location that is not good as it is quite a distance to get to any place with a public restroom. Another is that there is no way to contact the venue by phone if you have questions. I almost didn't go because I was a bit late and the confirmation I received said that we had to be there at our specific time with no ability to change it. Fortunately my son was able to email them and ask if I could catch up to them on the trail if I arrived a bit late and they responded quickly enough that I didn't have to turn around and go back home (my drive there was two hours).
