    We beat the lab!
    Zac M.

We had an amazing time here last weekend! The rooms vary in size and difficulty level so we decided to start with The Lab as an intro and then moved over to Bitten which was quite a challenge. The facility spans across multiple buildings allowing plenty of room to meet up with your group before heading into the challenge. They provide seating and a large lobby and give a nice overview before getting started. This was helpful because our group was mostly novices. I was surprised at the elaborate set up with multiple rooms for each of our challenges with ingenious puzzles, tasks, illusions and other tasks you need to make it through successfully. I had no idea how elaborate and creative the staff would be to come up with all these concepts. Way beyond what I expected. The staff was amazing and provided support before and during the rooms in full character which was a fun touch. Thank you for the great adventure and we hope to be back soon!

I believe Beat The Room has a location in Rocklin and Vacaville but my friend organized her birthday for an escape room. She signed our large groups up for Bitten (5/5 difficulty) and Chasm (3/5 difficulty). You arrive earlier than your start to sign electronic waivers via QR codes. They have lockers for you to keep your stuff in. The staff are super friendly and really into it which makes it exciting! There are bathrooms inside and it was such a great time to not put any spoilers out. 2 people couldn't make the reservation and they were able to reimburse us for it. Everyone sounded like they had a great time both before and after seeing other groups. Would highly recommend this spot! Happy to say both of our groups escaped!

    The leaderboard! We're #1!

The experience here is amazing! The only reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is due to its pricing. I would highly recommend it for anyone that is into escape rooms, I have been to a few and this one definitely is worth checking out! We got done with ours fairly quickly without any hints! We ended up #1 on the leaderboard which was pretty awesome!

The hosts were sweet and helpful. My family split up to do the Sherlock Holmes and Pirate rooms. Both had a great mix of puzzle types and the room themes were well executed. A few of the clues could use fixing and both rooms needed better lighting to help us read some small print, but the overall experience was excellent. It was a great 79th birthday gift for my Dad.

You can tell by the smiles on our faces that everyone had a great time.

I have visited this venue 4 times now. Every time, the experience was 5/5. The staff were professional, the excitement and challenges of the rooms were accurate, and the experiences in my groups were fun and fulfilling. I definitely recommend this as an activity for all ages.

Super fun idea in Rocklin!! My very first escape room! We came here when it opened with my cousins. Because it was earlier in the day; we didn't have any additions to our group. Staff was very attentive and super energetic! Going through the rooms was fun and made my brain work hard to find clues. It really is a group effort and took us most of the time to get through. Definitely recommend! Now I can't wait to try more escape rooms!

The clues were (eventually) solved with no outside help in 39 minutes. Lots of macguffins which just added to the fun.

Ask the Community - Escape Rocklin

Does the captains quarters room look cheap is it worth the money?

It looks pretty good, small though. Is any escape room really worth the money? This was my first time doing an escape room and it was fun but not for the money; I think they're just way overpriced!!

It was wonderful to see them so engaged, active, and having so much fun. One of the things I appreciated most was the enclosed Kids Zone. As a teacher, it gave me peace of mind knowing the children could play safely while still enjoying plenty of freedom to explore. There was also a nice covered area for parents and chaperones to relax, as well as a great space for eating and gathering as a group. This was our second year visiting, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The staff and facilities made our field trip easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be back again next year! Highly recommend for school groups and families alike!

Kids under 12 need a chaperone, and you need to stay together. Went with my 5, 8 and 10 year olds, and the 5 year old could not reach the clips and needed help at every transition. My risk taker 8 year old had the best time and could have stayed for 4 hours. The 10 year old was done after about an hour. The kids cove rope playground is $10 a person and you could easily spend 2 hours there. It is hot! They provide water. TIP: if you want to do the 2 or 4 hour adventure or the ropes course, you need to take their 30 min training course on how to transfer the clips between cables, that happen on the hour and half hour. So you would need to arrive 30 mins before the 2 or 4 hours. Ie - we started the training course at 230 and then did the 2 hour from 3-5.
