So I decided to wait, and wait and wait. 20 minutes went by and the 2 employees didn't even acknowledge I had been waiting a very long time. I don't know how long the 2 other customers had been there before me but could tell they were getting frustrated. The phone rang, so the employee stars chatting with the person on the phone and not dealing with the customers in the store. Finally one of the other customers leaves and unbelievably the employee goes in the other room! I got up and left! Terrible service

The first thing of note was how good Patrick's quote was when he sent it to me. His pricing was fair, and his detail and thorough approach to making a proposal were top notch. Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. Hey and Indy did a great job taking care of our home as they worked. The camera's went up and they look as they they were originally a part of the house design. The doorbell also looks original. I would absolutely work with Patrick again and most likely I will.

THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS WHEN YOU SIGN. If you try to cancel for any reason they still want payment for the remaining 5 years. They claim this is typical in the industry but that is patently false. Virtually no one does this anymore as it is considered dishonest. Most states have outlawed these types of contracts - but not Maryland. I have spoken to the States Attorneys General Office and my state rep to move legislation banning these contracts. Our first interaction with Advanced Security Safe & Lock occurred when our moving company left us…read morein the lurch with two safes that needed to be moved from our garage to our basement. The movers said it was impossible to put the larger of the two safes into the home without damage, and we didn't want to store safes in the garage where they'd be vulnerable and not in a temperature-controlled environment. When we called Advanced Security Safe & Lock, they said they could absolutely do the job. They arrived on time and placed both safes exactly where we wanted them in our basement without damaging anything. We were so impressed that we later hired them to change our locks. The job turned out to be more complex that we'd thought, since there were two types of locks in our home. But the technicians were able to switch out the cheaper locks for a reasonable price so we only needed one key for all of them! Every worker we dealt with was professional and responsive. I highly recommend Advanced Security Safe & Lock.
