I lost power and was stuck on the side of HWY 395. Waiting for a tow truck and being far from home I went to Yelp to find a mechanic and yet again Yelp did not let me down. Hundreds of 5 star reviews, for good reason. I called and Jeremy picked up right away, was courteous, professional and told me to have the tow truck bring it down and they will prioritize it bc im a traveller, he said he'll having me up and going in no time, unless it was a catastrophic failure. So even though id be passing by many other shops on the way in I knew this is the place I had to go. I was met by Brett with a smile and a firm handshake at the shop and immediately he grabbed his scan tools and said lets go check it out! Wow! Long story short, his expertise immediately led him to the culprit, a loose battery terminal! To think, all this caused by such a seemingly innocuous problem. How many techs would have solved that issue so quickly I thought, and what would they cost me in time and money to solve it. He told me to drive around a bit, and see if the issue came back, and if not, take care and safe travels! I tried to follow him into the building and pay him for his time and expertise, I was truly thankful. He told me not to worry about it, if I knew people from the area to send them their way. I then tried to offer to buy them lunch and he replied they just had lunch but thank you for the offer. What else can be said? 5 star business, 5 star human beings, God Bless these gentleman and their business.

Honest, good pricing without sacrificing quality, quick turnaround times, well educated, down to earth communication, honest recommendations without the upsales, I can keep going. Jeremy and Bret at Freedom Auto are just some good on the level people. Glad I found them and now have a place I can bring my vehicle and know that i'm in good hands. So if you are still scanning for someone to bring your vehicle to STOP, give theses guys a call. I couldn't be happier with there service from start to finish. Keep it up guys! He's honest, reassemble prices and quick. Thanks Mando!

The agreed-upon repairs included replacing piston rings, connecting rod bearings, resurfacing fuel injectors, and addressing issues with cylinder 3's heads and valves. December 2024: The shop requested additional money to complete the repair, claiming the need to order more parts from Audi. January 28, 2025: The owner confirmed receiving the necessary parts,  February 7th he stated he had an emergency and had to leave the country. February 21 2025: we visit the shop and I discovered my engine disassembled, with parts ordered from China rather than the promised Audi components. After expressing concern, I reluctantly agreed to have the engine reassembled, understanding I might lose the $3,000 deposit but fearing further losses. The owner promised the vehicle would be ready by March 3, 2025, along with the original contract and replaced parts. March 3rd 2025: scott from the BAR visit the shop to obtain the contract and it was closed.  Mando told him he was ill March 4, 2025: After following up, I was informed of a new issue with the rear tensioner, requiring another part. Mando claimed to have the part and promised to finish the repair.  He also confirmed he was not going to try and take any more money since he didn't complete the repairs. March 10, 2025: The shop was closed and is reportedly staying closed for the week, leaving my vehicle in pieces. I have since contacted local law enforcement, who indicated this may constitute embezzlement, and the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) has already issued a citation against the shop. In the meantime: My vehicle remains undrivable and disassembled for 4 months. I had to purchase another car, spending $5,000 on alternate transportation. I am left without my $3,000 deposit, with no resolution in sight. My 2014  Audi Q7 with 109k miles current market value is approximately $10,000 I have no vehicle to this day and no one will help me.

Adrian responded immediately and was completely professional from the jump. He scheduled a visit quickly, showed up on time, and diagnosed the issue right away. He let me know I needed a part, but didn't charge me for that first visit--which I really appreciated. Once I got the replacement part, Adrian came back and got everything dialed in fast. I was honestly a little bummed I couldn't figure it out myself, but he turned it into a learning opportunity, walking me through what he was doing and giving me a bunch of solid tips to help me continue upgrading and maintaining the truck. He even checked out a few other things just to make sure everything was running right. Super solid experience overall. Adrian clearly knows his stuff, works efficiently, and treats you with respect.
