Poke bowl with two proteins: salmon and tuna
    Michael B.

I'm so glad that we have a place like this in the Youngstown area. I hope they get the support they'll need from our area. I got a custom built poke bowl that had salmon, tuna, cucumbers, green onions and a bunch other items. They really give you a lot of options and don't upcharge you for it (although that is an option if you exceed their limits). I did takeout and it's clear from their establishment that that is their primary business model as the dining area was small and only had a handful of tables. And that is fine by me. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. It was super tasty and had just about everything I would want in it. Do give this place a try if you're into Asian (Polynesian to be more precise) style food.

Really fresh tasting! And you can make your own bowl and pick what's in it. My daughter got the salmon lovers and thoroughly enjoyed it too

Stumbled upon this gem via google search. I was not disappointed! Great flavors & portions. You can choose from cooked/ raw protein. The food was incredibly fresh & the customer service was excellent as well. The ambiance is very relaxing as it is a fast/ casual restaurant. After tasting Poke here I'm very excited to see its growth in this region. Highly recommend.

This place just opened within the last few months and have been wanting to try it. Boy am I glad I did. You walk in to this clean and bright space and are greeted by the friendly staff. The gentleman was very helpful and even recommended the drink I ordered as milk teas were new to me. While they have signature bowls, I decided on the build your own bowl. I chose the three protein option where I included both the raw salmon and tuna as well as the spicy tuna. These were tossed with my choices of spring mix, cucumber, tomatoes and red onions. Toppings of choice were crispy garlic, crispy onion, pickled ginger and seaweed salad all of which were drizzled with my choice of spicy mayo honey wasabi and sweet chili honey miso. The freshness of the ingredients was stellar. The flavors all worked together to create a fantastic symphony of deliciousness across the palate. Check out the menu pics and check out the various options you have when creating your own poke bowl. I was unfamiliar with milk teas but they sounded intriguing. When asked, he recommended the Tiger sugar latte which was listed under Snow Cream. It was a brown sugar glaze that he coated the sides of the cup with and then added the fresh tapioca boba and then topped with brown sugar that he caramelized using a mini torch. This was a sweet, delectable treat that I couldn't drink fast enough. The boba and the caramelized brown just made for a delicious, sugary but not overpowering, drink. Simply put, you need to go here. I know I can't wait to go back.

The food is solid and not terribly priced. Enjoyed the topping options. There aren't a lot of poke options around.

Upon entering, I greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome from one of the owners, Shay. They have very extensive menu and had a nice variety of food available. There are two benches available to sit down on and wait for you order; however, this is purely a to-go spot, so there were not any dining tables. The prices are consistent with similar restaurants in the city, plus the portions are huge, so no complaints there. Now let's talk food! First, let me say they had some of meatiest, juiciest, lamb chops I've had from a restaurant in a while. Cooked to order, tempature of choice, and flavored sooooo well. Let's get into these candied yams y'all. Bravo to the chef, he made them perfect! Sweet and soft through every bite, and not one ounce of bitterness or crunchiness. We came at the end of night so we missed the Mac and cheese, but I will make sure to come early next time. If you are looking for a place with a little soul and seafood, check them out. You will not regret it!!!

Poké Cleveland is a Hawaiian cuisine chain with just one location in Highland Heights. I tried their food for weekend lunch. It was a fun new-to-me place to try! FOOD: Poké Cleveland offers create your own bowl (think Chipotle line style) if you're in the mood to create. An alternative is a signature bowl with pre-determined ingredients and some customization. They're also well known for their bubble teas! I ordered one of the signature bowls House Ahi Bowl ($18). Each bowl can be customized as spicy and non-spicy, which is a huge plus. I always actively avoid spicy foods during dining, this selection made it very easy. The bowl included cucumber, edamame, green onion, and seaweed salad. I added premium toppings including avocado ($1.75) and masago (fish eggs) ($1.75). The fish tasted very fresh. The toppings were generously portioned. AMBIANCE: True to its promise of "fast Hawaiian cuisine," the service was expeditious and reasonably friendly. The cafe is pretty simple with metal tables, a lot of room to fit everyone in your party, and ample natural light. It fills with the sunlight and radiance on sunny days. VALUE: Specials are posted in the cafe and available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. There are a few specials on purchased pairs of bubble teas or bowls. Come as a pair or treat yourself! Poké Cleveland was a solid choice for one time lunch. Fresh, quick, and filling. I did not see any unique or unusual exciting menu items that would keep me coming back.

The amount of tuna in the Poké bowl has been reduced while the price has remained relatively steady. But there is the option when ordering to double the amount of tuna for a fixed upcharge. The quantity of the ingredients has remained high. The ambiance of City Kitchen is nice as is the service from the food runners and busing staff (order from a QR code at the table). While the free parking lot can be full (and limits to an hour), the Bakery Square parking garage with a few hours of free parking makes driving here to eat easy.

They seat you and you have a waiter but can order from the QR code on your phone as well. There's also a big TV outside on the lawn if you want to stay awhile with a drink. I got the truffle tuna poke bowl. Overall, was very yummy. I wish there was maybe a few more things in the bowl, but the size was a perfect portion. I think for the price, you could've gotten a little bit more but hopefully the quality of ingredients make up for that.
