I asked Ki to thin my brows slightly and since the point was too sharp up top to soften it a little, just at the corner. Next thing you know the entire shape is changed to be arching like a rainbow. Mind you I also checked in between when she checked out the girl before me and it was fine then. But when she returned to do the tint she changed it again, which I assumed was to clean it up a bit. She started the tinting process immediately without asking me my thoughts in between. Then once the tint was done she finally asked what I thought. I was embarrassed since people were in there waiting to pay since she took another client while my tint was setting. So I said its ok then left. After a few minutes of looking at it with my glasses back on I went back and asked her if it could be fixed and I was willing to pay whatever since it looks so rough people kept looking funny at me in Walmart... I showed her the picture and explained what I was asking to fix which she said couldnt fix cause of the tint and told me to show that next time and she can fix it next time... She also said I told her to make it softer which yes I reminded her I asked to soften the point not the entire brow. And soften doesnt mean to make it a rainbow... I did this for a trip im leaving for in 3 days and am so embarrassed to be out. read more

I needed a place to get my eyebrows threaded and decided to stop by Hawaii Threading. They were super fast and I was able to get seen as a walk-in immediately. The entire threading experience took roughly 10 minutes, and I loved how my brows turned out! I came here last year and a younger worker did my brows and it was great. Today I came in and it was a different lady but I trusted she would follow the way my brows were already shaped. NO! She gave me a whole new shape and made it really thin and I already have thin brows. This just made me cry. I bawled for the whole day after this experience. One brow is also uneven. I want to give a shout out and say thank you on this #ThankYouThursday to the ladies at the Schofield Barracks PX location! Each time I have visited this location in the past month, they have adhered to all covid precautions. They wear their masks, have hand sanitizers visible for customer use, and clean up after each customer (wiping down chairs and all surfaces frequently touched). Please go with caution. I hate to write this review after so many good experiences, but today was the absolute worst eyebrow shaping of my life and I have been getting waxed and threaded for over 10 years. I've gone to this person before and she's did great work. I won't mention her name publicly. After today, my eyebrows are nearly almost lines and I'm still shocked at how extremely thin they are now. It didn't even hit me there, and I honestly just didn't know what to say that after looking in the mirror when she was done I said, "thank you, looks great" paid and gave her a $5 tip. I'm so surprised because she was my favorite of the team, but she was talking on the phone, about to go on lunch, and also changed threads so maybe this was a one off and she overdid it. Great location on the second floor of the Pearlridge Shopping center. There is a long wait on the weekend so I recommend signing in first then walking around the mall. They will text you when your next. The ladies pay attention to your requests...and they did a great job on my 14 year old daughter. I usually go to the shop in pearlridge to get my brows done but I seen that they were permanently closed :( so I had to look for a new place. I did some looking around and came across Hawaii Threading! I'm so glad I did. I used to get my brows waxed but after getting them threaded, years ago, I can't go back to wax. I went to the Ka Makana location. 2 doors down from Macy's. They take walk ins and appts. I've been growing my brows out for a while and decided to get them done for my trip to NY! I got my brows threaded and tinted. First time getting them tinted but definitely won't be the last. They make my eyebrows look fuller :)))))) so happy with the outcome! I went to the one in Waipahu on the second level of Walmart. I had my eyebrows done and upper lips. Annie did a fantastic job of giving me that natural and clean look on my eyebrows. Normally, my wife comes to get her brows done by Sakun (I think that's her name?) who consistently does a stellar job at making her eyebrows look amazing. Today, we saw their normal location closed off for what seems to be renovations or repairs. My wife doesn't trust just anyone to do her eyebrows, so we poked around the internet for answers and found their info here on Yelp. After a quick phone call, we learned they were actually a few doors down in an indoor location. Upon entering, we were greeted by an unfamiliar face (for us, anyway) but the same excellent customer service and work quality we were accustomed to finding here. Our technician today was Pili and she did a fantastic job shaping and tinting my wife's eyebrows. She was friendly, social, and made sure to check in occasionally with my wife to get her approval on the progress of her brows. Overall, we were glad with the service and the quality of work we received today. If you ever need some sort of threading service, these are the people you need to see! Sakun was previously our ONLY go-to technician, but now we have Pili as well on that list. read more

This was my first and last visit to this eye brow salon inside the Walmart but let me start out by saying I've been getting my eye brows threaded and only threaded for almost 15 years and this was by far my worst experience. As soon as I sat down I asked for a CLEAN UP and I got the complete opposite. Half my eye brows are gone. I had long THICK eye brows and she threaded half of it off on the top bottom and sides and she cut so much hair off towards the end as well they are beyond thin I was in disbelief when she told me she's done I was legit left speechless when i looked in the mirror. I just about cried looking at them because I look and feel very different. This is my face so to have my eye brows so messed up and at this extent is very hard for me. The worst part is they look completely different from one another she completely changed the shape of my right eye brow I don't even know how to fix this or fill it in. When I told her why she did them so thin her response was "all I did was clean them up" when I said this isn't a clean up half my eye brow is gone she VERY rudely told me "so what do you wanna do about it" like girl we can't glue my hair back what kind of question was that ?? On top of it my daughter was with me so I wasn't going to go back and forth and what is the point nothing can be done I was also trying not to have a full mental break down so I paid $21.99 to just leave home crying and shocked that someone who does this service thinks this is a clean up and felt okay to do this kind of work on someone's eye brows. We were so excited when she opened the Pearlridge location again because it is closer to our home. For the past year we've been seeing Sakun at Pearlridge. Excellent! I was able to use the Yelp coupon, $30 for brows, lip and tint--what a deal! My eye brows and lip came out great and I plan to return in the future. The location I went to is in Kapolei at the Ka Makana Ali'i mall. The only downside to my experience is that the kiosk station is located outside and it can get pretty hot. They do their best to cover the area with umbrellas, but sometimes you just can't beat the heat. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with their services and my results. read more

Found this place on Groupon as I've been needing to get my eyebrows done for a long time. The Groupon was for eyebrow threading and tint. Haven't done tinting before but thought I'd give it a try. This place is a kiosk located In Downtown Pearlridge just before PacSun if you are coming from the movies side. Just after PacSun if you are coming from Sears. The lady was very nice and she did a good job. She asked what shade (light or dark) I would like. Asked her what she recommended. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because I wished she had told me what tinting is, the process, and how to maintain it because my tinting is now gone. read more
