I went to the store this past Saturday and didn't realize they now close on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is where I come to purchase velcro, zipper, thread, needles, and industrial sewing supplies. They have zippers in black and white only and the longest they carry is 25". They are $1/ea and I think cheaper if you buy in bulk. They sell velcro on the roll and also velcro with adhesive. I love that stuff, it makes my job so much easier. I mainly wanted to write a review so I could provide the store hours for other customers because I always go through hoops trying to find their store hours which last I checked, was not on their answering machine or anywhere online. I figure less confused people = more smarter, happier people in the world = better for me and my well-being (I admit I sometimes Yelp with selfish ulterior motive). Their hours are: Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm Sat 10am-3pm Sun CLOSED

Rainbow of threads!

Best store by far to buy your thread from. Cheaper than amazon and way cheaper than walmart, Ben Franklins. Will shop here again for thread.

Jo C. you are my HERO, sistah!!!!…read more As a vertically challenged Asian man, no matter if I stay skinny or fat, garans-ball barans I have to get my pants altered, as my legs stay too short! Buwahahahahahaha! Before Covid-19 I used to go to this place called - "Sheridan Laundry" on Young Street (MAHALO Bruddah Peter Y. fo' da hook up about Sheridan Laundry) to get my pants altered. The nice Korean lady who worked at Sheridan Laundry was very good at her craft, and her prices for alterations were very reasonable. Unfortunately during Covid-19 her business tanked, and she no longer does alterations. From there, I found another alteration business on Pensacola Street, but the prices that the lady changes to alter a pair of pants slowly crept up to $14.00. Yikes! Thanks to my Yelp buddy - Jo C., for posting her AWESOME review of - "777 Fashion & Alterations" in Chinatown. Wanna know what da BESTEST part about this business? Good QUALITY work, very REASONABLE prices , friendly & fast service, and the friendly 15 year old doggie that hangs out at the shop! Lol! At the end of the day, ya wanna know what I paid for my pants Alterations???? The nice lady only charged me $8.00 bucks, and I was so happy about that deal that I tipped her an additional $2 bucks! Lol! Can we say DEALAGES Yo!!! This is my new spot for alterations! Lol! Check out - "777 Fashion & Alteratioins"!
