He explained why one of the ceiling fans could not be installed in the family room because the ceiling was too low. Instead, he installed it in the den. Ethan D was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Ethan D as your electrician for your next electrical project.

They were able to come and inspect the work within a short notice and provided us with an on-site estimate. Everything seemed satisfactory until I was informed that the estimate would include a yearly fee for any future work. This fee would automatically provide us with a built-in discount for subsequent services. This was the first indication that something was amiss. Why would I want to pay an annual fee for work that had already been completed? Another peculiar aspect of their pricing was the flat rate fixed price for each item. They offered a similar approach to car repairs, where a flat rate is charged for parts like a quarter panel or hood. For an outlet in a switch, they had a flat fixed rate. They assured us that this included labor and materials. However, they failed to mention that they sourced the cheapest possible materials. They also stated that I could purchase the materials myself, but I lacked the time to do so. Consequently, I ended up having cheap switches, even though the price seemed exorbitant in my opinion. Given the urgency of the project, I had no choice but to agree. However, this is when the problems began. The project was initially promised to be completed in a day and a half or two at the most. Surprisingly, it took four days to complete the work. They arrived at the site by midday every day and proceeded to shop for materials for that day. Essentially, they had four half-day workdays. The workmanship was rated a 4.5 out of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. The finish work was quite disappointing. They made numerous holes and neglected to save the drywall pieces to fit them back in, leaving me with a mess of mismatched drywall. They claimed they didn't typically put it back, but they didn't inform me of this when I agreed to hire them. To make matters worse, when I tried to reach the office staff or another representative they initially mistook me for a salesperson or someone trying to hassle me until I proved my identity as a customer. This was quite frustrating. It seemed like they prioritized their profits over my satisfaction. The phone representative kept talking and refused to listen. I don't believe he knew how to listen effectively. Fortunately, I received a call from the owner one day. He was quite pleasant, but it was evident that he has a personnel issue. I would never hired this company again and would never recommend them to anyone. On top of the shoddy work and unethical behavior, they attempted to double-charge me for my services. I noticed a second charge for a similar amount on my credit card, and initially, they denied it. I insisted they investigate the matter, as I had sent them a screenshot of my credit card. Eventually, they admitted to the mistake reversed the charges. Neither the owner nor the project manager called to apologize. In my opinion, their work, ethics, and overall business practices are extremely sloppy, unfriendly to customers, and unprofessional.

One word summary: SERVICE…read more.. Yes, Pacific Ceiling Fans have beautiful product. This is where my ceiling fans were purchased by previous owner of home. Nicest, best quality ceiling fans I've ever owned. What has brought me back a few times we're issues with the remote(s). It's to be expected. Things break down after years of use. The last two times (over years) Blaine has been the one to assist me. Each time he listened to the situation intently, decided best course of action, and quickly provided solution. And the last time I thought the replacement remote was faulty... I telephoned them while driving back to exchange when associate "kindly" mentioned if it was a remote problem they would absolutely replace it BUT they would also make sure it wasn't an issue with the wiring or fan itself. Oops... I didn't consider that possibility. Turned my car around, right after picking up some onolicious oxtail soup across the street from them. :-) After arriving home, reprogrammed my other remote to see if same issue and bingo! ... light on fan still not turning off with remote. Easy workaround... just use wall switch. Thank you Pacific Fans for your always great service! Thank you also for your kindness in talking to me, making sure I felt like a valued customer, not like an idiot for not figuring out the secondary issue (the first remote was still faulty and needed to be replaced !). You've got my future business and referrals to friends and family!

Mahalo to Peter and Josh!…read more During the busy holiday season and with Christmas lights hanging around the house, you do not want the outlets around the house to quit working. Searched on YELP for an electrician. Peter Gomez reached out via phone. He was professional and answered my questions. Arranged for Josh to come out the next morning to take a look at the outlets. Arrived in a timely manner and called me of his arrival. After inspecting the areas, he knew what the issue was and completed it within time provided. He also walked around checking on other possible not working outlets and found it all working properly. Josh is a local boy, very young and very knowledgeable. "Word of mouth" is part of my helping others and supporting local. This is one company that I would like everyone to know that they are awesome. Please give them a call or visit their website for more information.

Unfortunately, Peter canceled this work just a few days prior to when the work was to begin. This left me scrambling around to try to find another electrician to complete our project. I feel that by canceling at the last minute, it wasn't very professional on his part. I'm really surprised that Peter canceled as we were just communicating the day before he canceled and everything was confirmed.

Kevin (owner) is very welcoming, sweet, and full of energy all night to greet people from all over the island. He will stay outside and greet you as long as he sees people coming, some popular nights he's stayed up till Midnight! This is my favorite spot to come over the years, as Kevin makes it worthwhile. He greets you with a candy cane and lets you roam around freely, even to his backyard where there's more decorations awaiting for you. Who lets strangers do that? Not many people, but he treats you as if you're family. He truly has the festive spirit we all wish for during this time. Kapolei Santa Claus? We like to play a game where we guess what's new that's been added this year! More and more people have been finding out about his house over the years and I couldn't keep it a secret anymore!
