I cannot say enough good things about Miner Tire. While driving from St. Louis to Alabama to visit…read morefamily, something punctured my tire and bent my rim. We were stressed, tired, and had already tried multiple tire shops--even a big box store--without any luck. Miner Tire went above and beyond to help us get safely back on the road. They were friendly, quick, and genuinely sympathetic to our situation. Instead of giving us the runaround, they jumped right in and made sure we were taken care of. In a moment that could have ruined our trip, they made all the difference. I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY of the EMPLOYEES WHO WORK HERE !! February 2025…read moreTerrible Tire service & tried to up sale me a battery - the wheel balancing appeared on 3 of the 4 tires. After driving on the interstate the next day, two tires were missing the lead at the end of my trip. I did notice the drive changed during the trip. Visited Mavis location in different town and they rebalanced the tires. All 4 have lead now and drives great!!!! When this Decatur location phoned me to say the tire rotation and balance was complete but my battery cranking power was only half of the charge and was a danger. They recommended to replace the battery. Mavis battery price was too high. They asked me to buy it and bring it to them to install. DAH, Auto Zone will install for free and give me a core credit that Mavis would not honor. Auto Zone tested the battery and surprise, it was producing the maximum crank for the year old battery!!! It's end of March and battery is still performing great. WILL NOT GET RECOMMENDED EVER - too many other choices around to use this location for anything. I spoke with all three staff members who worked there, so they all tried and failed with service and honesty.

We walked in and asked if they could replace her alternator because she lives almost an hour away and more than likely wouldnt make it home. One of the guys said they could replace it, but it wouldnt be tonight since we were there so close to closing time (completely understandable). The other guy, Jacob said he wanted to test it and make sure thats what it needed and see what the alternator was putting out. Jacob determined that it was a bad alternator and started checking to see how easy/hard it would be to get to it. He said he needed to check with someone about something so we followed him back inside. Jacob came back to the counter and said he was going to put in the new alternator and said it could take about an hour. Jacob exemplified

This was my third experience going to this Firestone and it has the best quality and customer…read moreservice I have seen since I have been here. I was hesitant with taking a high end SUV and vehicle to Firestone since we are near major dealers. The staff advisors always address me by my name due to my scheduled appointment upon arrival. Never had an issue with the maintenance of my vehicle and they will call you when it's time to pick up your vehicle. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the maintenance and don't let a female fool you because she knows her stuff about vehicle maintenance as well. If you are relocating here to the Redstone Arsenal area and worried about maintenance about your vehicle and don't want to spend dealer price, I recommend this Firestone. I know on post is usually overbooked and I am glad to have my vehicles serviced here. I am glad that I received the lifetime tire alignment and they always recommend when getting an oil change to rotate the tires to get maximum use of your tires. Overall, I recommend this Firestone to any military member and you will receive a discount as well. WB

Customer service was HORRIBLE at the location on Old Monrovia Road in Huntsville, AL!!…read more I called this morning and made an appointment with Josh. I guess Josh failed to lock It in the system. Well, when I got there, the older guy at the front desk (guess Josh had left for the day) was rude like. "Are sure are you are in you a the right place??" I told him, "Yes, I have been doing to this location for years." So he says, who did you talk to? Josh? I said yes. He went on to say all he had to do was go the next step and lock it in. You don't have an appointment. But he did fix it and wanted to work me in. I just left because I was done with his rudeness and smart comments. I have been going to this location since 2009~ NEVER AGAIN!! If I could give him a zero star, I would!'
