Ethan agreed the unit was quite old, but he worked to clean the unit, change the condenser along with a couple other small things in the unit outside, and made sure everything was in good working order. He recommended considering a new unit in the next year or so. We didn't feel pressured to buy. However, we understood the recommendation and the timeliness of possibly replacing the unit. Shortly after this purchase she was talked into getting new wiring done on the house for a significant amount of $9000 dollars to put in new wiring in which she didn't need. My mother in law is past 70 years old and on a low fixed income. It's really bad to sell elderly people things they don't need just to make a profit, a huge profit at that. My elderly and disabled mother had a toilet that was running, leaking, etc. The gentlemen at AxsomAir were absolutely great. I spoke with Matthew, who Im assuming is one of the owners, and he asked me to give him a couple of minutes. He called back (quickly) and said he had a plumber who would be at her house in 15 minutes. Christian was there very shortly and had everything fixed in no time. In this age where companies and employees seem to be believe they are doing you a favor by letting you hire them, AxsomAir and their staff couldn't have been more friendly, professional, and accomodating. I highly recommend them for any A/C work you have (they replaced her A/C compressor last year) as well as any other services they provide, like plumbing.
