I had used this company for several years and really didn't have any issues until this year. I paid for a 100 gallons of propane, like I do every year, but this year they said I needed to move my tank, because it was too close to a building. I got the tank moved as they requested, and then I asked them to bring the 100 gallons of propane that I had already paid for. They did bring the propane, but they only put 84 gallons in my tank, instead of 100 gallons that I paid for. When I called and asked why, they said that the price of propane had went up since I had paid for the gas, so the credit I had on my account would only cover 84 gallons, even though my account said 100 gallons. To me this is stealing and dishonesty, I do not recommend this company and I will never use them again.

The office personnel are very cordial and work diligently to ensure their service fits our schedule. Robbie is the delivery person who always calls, as I've requested, when he'll be on our property within the half hour. He is cordial and puts safety first in the delivery. Our tank is located at the opposite end of our house requiring Robbie to walk the long filler hose past a huge tree to the tank. I watch his process and know he uses best safety practices at every step of the filling. Leak tests are performed before hookup and after the process is completed. I attended several OSHA courses in the field of high pressure gas safety while at NASA, JSC. I observe each step taken in having my tank filled as when I take cylinders for my gas grills in for filling. My training and basic common sense known by the average person, keeps me going back to Automatic Gas for our propane needs. I learned of this company from my neighbor whose usage is much higher than mine and I'm glad I did.

It was for a later to be installed generator, so I was willing to wait. After 1 month, they still didn't come, so I called. Then they told me that they lost the order. Fine, just come install it! Nope, they told me that since they lost the order, they'd have to redo it. It would now take 2-3 weeks. I told them to just cancel the order. Afterward, I called Reed Gas. They installed everything the very next day. Obviously, I should have called Reed Gas the first time.
