I would not recommend JSP Handyman Services based on my experience…read more I contacted my home warranty company because my kitchen faucet was leaking underneath the sink while still functioning normally. JSP Handyman Services was assigned to the claim, and a technician came out to assess the problem. Unfortunately, after the technician worked on the faucet, it became completely non-functional. We were left without a working kitchen faucet, despite the fact that it had been functioning when the original claim was submitted. The experience was extremely frustrating. The communication and follow through were unprofessional, and the repair was not completed. We were then left dealing with the consequences of a faucet that was worse after the service visit than it was before. I understand that JSP was working through a home warranty company, but as the assigned service contractor, I expected competent workmanship, professionalism, and a completed repair. Instead, the issue remained unresolved and created additional inconvenience for our household. We hired another company to take care of our faucet replacement. Based on my experience, I would not use or recommend JSP Handyman Services.

They subsequently sent a message stating they were having "equipment" problems, and would come out that Friday. Again No call No show. I get on the phone with the warranty folks, they cant reach this person. I suddenly get a text Saturday stating they will come out Sunday to get the job done. All they need was pictures of the disposal and serial number. Ok done! I texted this person after cutting my weekend trip short to get this done. Again No call No show. The technician was scheduled to come out Tuesday anyway so I didn't really start getting frustrated until, yup you guessed it, No call No show. Im talking to the warranty folks and they said this guy has the wrong parts or something like that and they will come the following Tuesday. You guessed it... No call No show. I put this claim in twice. the first technician had an emergency, ok I can understand that. My claim was reassigned to this person. They are terrible at communication and they don't even show up. This may not be for them, this kind of business. Folks should not have to take off work more than twice, I have done it 5 times and this person doesn't say hey I'm sorry I'll be there this day or that day(except for that Sunday which they No called No showed. I would not ever recommend this handyman to anyone....EVER!! Very unprofessionalism. If you know like I know, don't use this device. And I see this person is blaming things on the warranty companies. That just tells me they lack accountability for anything on their end. Im not taking away from warranty companies sitting on there hands. Been there done that. But paying for a service should me you get just that, a service. Not someone sending messages via that companies web portal and they have my number. And they don't tell you on multiple occasions they will be here on this day, I take off work, and they don't show. Not once not twice a not three times. 5 TIMES. Totally unnacceptable by anyones standards...Hey, you've been warned, people!!!!

I initially called Jeff to check out why our dryer had stopped working. My wife and I thought the…read moredryer had gone out, but once Jeff got into the wall outlet he found that for some reason the wiring had come loose from the outlet. He probably saved us from having a fire in the house. Then, we were just telling him about some other things we were thinking about having done. We were wanting our hall bathroom remodeled and the old cast iron tub taken out and replaced with a walk-in shower. The next thing you know he is tackling that update. Not only did he do the walk-in shower but he also repainted the bathroom. Then he fixed a bad place in the hall ceiling and painted the hall. But, he wasn't done. He then took down the old laundry room cabinets that were installed in the laundry room when the house was built in the mid 1970s. He repainted the laundry room and installed new flooring for it. Also, the air vent for the dryer was through the wall into the garage. He drilled a hole in the laundry room outside wall and vented the dryer to the outside. He also took care of a couple of other minor things that he thought needed to be done. If you need anything, and I mean anything, done around your house don't hesitate to give him a call. His prices are very reasonable and he is just so much fun to talk to. From the first time he walked into our house we immediately liked him.
