She is tenacious. She is thorough. She is pleasant to work with. She is great even when the market is difficult. Also, the recommendations she makes for other professionals in the process are stellar. Lawyer? She recommended Paul Trimper and I have never had a more positive legal experience with any lawyer. Nancy goes "above and beyond" and we are very grateful. I heartily recommend Nancy and her staff for ALL your real estate needs.

We could not have asked for a better, more honest, more forthright, harder working property manager and real estate agent than him. We followed him from another PM company to Berkshire Hathaway. He was definitely the best decision BH ever made. Anyone with property needs in upstate NY should run (not walk) to Micah Matteson at Berkshire Hathaway of CNY Thank you, Micah. Shame, shame, shame. This owner rented a unit to a very young couple with a baby while the husband…read morewas serving our country. Upon move in it was filthy, filthy, disgusting. Dead bugs everywhere, dog shit on the floor and smelled like cat piss. The blinds looked like someone spit syrup all over them. The bathroom leaked. I could go on. The poor mother had rented from another state so being young she felt she didn't have much choice but to take it. Upon move out they had the nerve to charge $513 to clean the carpet upstairs. Yeah, the carpet they left dog shit on that smelled like cat piss. The square footage shouldn't have cost more than $165 at most. Truthfully they should have put new carpet down but hey what do you expect from a slumlord. Do not rent from this terrible person.

Late last year she apparently left Clear Choice and I didn't find out until I received an email that basically said "Sign this really fast so it releases your property from Clear Choice" Since then, she's been horrible to get ahold of, my property has been vacant for 6 months, AND when searching for it, found out she doesn't even have it listed for sale on the MLS!! I don't know how she is with her tenants but property owners BEWARE!! :( **UPDATE 9/4/2018*** I was contacted by Yelp HQ to validate my review as Bennett is trying to get my review removed!! Seriously?!? Your company was incredibly shady in 2015 and you're still shady in 2018?!? Wow... But never fear, I verified with Yelp HQ and I will verify here too. See my screenshot. Property management companies should be companies you can trust to be honest and fair not liars. Still in shock that your company is still this bad!

If I could give Jason Smith and his team no stars I would. Jason puts up a good front but will do nothing to help in selling your home. He walked into our home and informed us how beautiful it was and how it would sell really quickly. We ended up selling the house For Sale By Owner with our own sign out front and listing on Zillow as an FSBO. Jason will tell you exactly what you want to hear and makes lots of promises about what he is going to do to help sell your home but never follows through. There were many times that his colleague Lisa would come to the house to do an open house. When we would meet with her after the open house she wouldn't have much feed back for us and would just say it went well and she expected that we would see offers from the efforts. We would often times after showing ask for feedback about the house and Jason nor his team would have any kind of valuable constructive criticism. It would usually be something like "Yeah, they loved the house." "Ceilings were a little low upstairs but otherwise they loved it." There were also numerous times that we would attempt to make contact with Jason and it would take hours or days to get a response from him. Jason's communications skills are lacking. He is 100% a salesman of himself and his company but not of your house. After we discontinued our contract with Jason his office still had paperwork for our house that we needed in order to complete the sale of our house. We attempted to make contact with him for approximately 5 weeks. When we showed up at office to get the paperwork they initially stated that they did not take any paperwork from us. After further pushing stating that they did have the paperwork and it had been dropped at an attorney they called the office and surprise the paperwork was there.
