I contacted him because the ad says we will always call you back. great a dependable contractor. He arrived as stated and gave me an estimate on the spot, I was to contact him a second time if the first contractors didn't complete a job performed a year ago. Well I called Herringers back and was told that he couldn't do the job because he was a single worker and didn't have the help to do the job. Stated him being older and worried about getting the job done safely that he wasn't able to do the job. WTH So now I'm left holding the bag. Called Mike for a leaking roof on a Thursday morning. I got a call that same afternoon and mike explained he had been over to the house and it needed some minor repair. Harrienger's replaced the shingle roof on our summer cottage with a metal roof. I was concerned about getting the work done before we close for the winter. Mike did the estimate on Sept. 7. The work was done over two days, Sept. 17 and 18. The cost was exactly as estimated, the two workers were professional - careful and clean. They had very little waste and left the property clean. It's too soon to say how the roof will hold up over the winter, but it looks great now. The company was recommended by a neighbor who is a general contractor. I'm surprised that one other reviewer had such a difficult time with this company. read more

The biggest grief is how everything is seperating from the wall ie. sink, border, etc. You'd think after reading reviews they'd make it right. Instead the work is on going. The owner of this company is a lying scumbag! We had him and his crew install a new roof on our home and within one week we had leaks. That winter the roof literally fell apart. We called him numerous times about the leaks and damages to our home and he always had excuses, until eventually he just stopped responding to us all together. We went through the attorney generals office to try and have our problems resolved, and found out this man has an entire slew of customers he has cheated out of money and lied to! When our insurance company came out to inspect the damages, they discovered about 3 thousand dollars worth of materials Mike charged us for that were never replaced or used on our roof. We are now in the works of filing a law suit. Stay as far away from this man and business as you can. There is a special place in hell for creeps like you Mike! read more

These folks came to do our roof. They were fast, effective, and had little to no impact on the neighborhood and the daily operations of my household. We asked for a simple shingle on the roof and it was what we received. Mike did not try to take us for a ride or try to sell us something we did not want or need need.
