Very pleased with our stay!…read more I'm giving this five stars, a reminder though that this is 3-star hotel (I would guess). The room was spacious, with space to maneuver around the king bed. There was a desk and TV as well. We were in a bit of a time crunch - staying for a wedding with the shuttle and check-in times colliding - and Bridget was able to check us in early! While she couldn't promise early access (I assume this is standard), it was clear that the staff went above and beyond to ensure we could check in and make the shuttle. Everyone was friendly. I thought we were missing towels (despite staring directly at them) and the front desk brought them up within 2 minutes of me calling. My mistake!! But they were so attentive and helpful. Breakfast from 6-10 - your basic suspects - is a nice perk. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend if they needed a room for the night.

Just finished a six night stay…read more We stayed in large room. It had two queens and a pullout. There was a desk area. Also had a small microwave and small fridge. The room felt dark-with decor in particular. Breakfast every morning. Had your typical breakfast- waffle maker waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, a breakfast meat, yogurt, fruit, juices. They also had coffee that was out 24/7. Has a small indoor pool and a nice exercise room. Hershey Park during summer months have concerts that you can hear from the sound from your room. So if you go to bed early this may be an important factor. Rooms didn't really have a refresh. I was lucky if trash was taken out and we got new towels without asking. Not a bed made once. I miss those days of coming back to a nicely made bed. I guess those days are long gone? Also, the week we were there lots of kids which were running around the lobby like it was a playground. Overall my stay was okay. I might book here again if I was in the area but I would also consider a different spot as well.

The front desk agent Matt - caused me to walk away from a prepaid reservation and pay to stay at the Hilton Hershey property instead. Which was amazing, by the way! I had a reservation for 6/15, and had called the week before to reconfirm an early check in. After working my 8-9-hour shift, I drove over 7 hours straight to Hershey PA to take my elderly mother to a concert at Hershey Stadium. Once arriving at the Fairfield, Matt brusquely replied that I did not have a reservation. I explained to him that a Marriott Vacation Club Member had gifted me the room and it was registered in my name as well as theirs. He then "found it" and told me there would be no early check in although I had confirmed, and I would have to wait until after 4pm. Mind you it is 11am, and at this point I have been awake well over 24 hours and am feeling faint. He was so nasty, I took a step back to take a calming breath. He was then so rude to the next lady (in front of her children as well) that she exclaimed "is this how you treat Marriott Bonvoy Members? WOW!" I knew I was unable to reason with this individual, and I was too exhausted to escalate the issue. So, I simply left and took my business elsewhere. I called today after some thought on the matter, hoping to give grace, and it was Matt who answered the phone. He was disdainful, snide, would not provide me with the GM's name or email and disconnected the call. I called Marriott Bonvoy myself and got the information I needed. Matt is ABSOLUTELY NOT the person Guests should EVER see and interact with upon entering a Marriott property. A welcoming smile and spirit of kindness is necessary in our industry. Matt has none of these qualities. Like I relayed to Corporate, Matt is most definitely a cause of loss of revenue for this location. On a more positive note, Zira and Melisa at The Hampton Inn Hershey saved the day! Highly recommend!!!

They offered a free breakfast buffet every morning. 100 times better than the previous hotel I stayed at. The rooms were very clean. The beds were moderately hard not as soft as I would've liked. But the rooms were comfortable. 55 inch television that I was able to hook my Xbox and use my apps and play my games. The air conditioner worked amazingly well. It was quiet and I was able to maintain a temperature of 61°. They have a filtered water distribution machine that makes it nice to fill big bottles. The refrigerator stayed nice and cold the whole time. And free ice was available when I needed it. My only complaint was the swimming pool. It wasn't open the first four days. When it did open, the temperature in the pool was hot. So hot that it was i uncomfortable. Do we even get in the water. I mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and they said they would say something to maintenance about it. Unfortunately the water continued to be hot. Except for the day after we had torrential downfall of rain. The pool felt very refreshing that day. Unfortunately, again the next day back to hot hot hot. Overall a great stay. I'm sure they'll get their pool system figured out as it was just opening up for the season when I stayed. A big thank you to the staff for making my stay very comfortable and welcoming.

I selected a room on the side of building which faced busy highway not knowing how the hotel was oriented. Because of the extra ridges on roadway I heard trucks going by almost all night. I know better if in area again. My wife and I both felt the bed was a little firm. We prefer softer. Breakfast was a step up from other Hampton's we have stayed in. First, there was packages of honey at coffee bar 24/7 for my wife's tea. For breakfast there is a carafe of infused water with fruit, packages of good salsa for the omelet, cinnamon flavored waffle batter, and an upgraded pastry selection. I did use first floor restroom which was clean and stocked with a nice heavy paper towel. I would stay here again if traveling thru area.

Check in was a breeze and the lovely lady working the evening I got into town was happy and just extremely pleasant to deal with. she got me on my way in a few moments after I arrived. Rooms were good sized and very clean- as were all areas of the establishment: Common areas, hallways etc. Bed was comfy, and the hot water was hot - without having to wait forever. Perfect. In the morning, they offer what I would say is one of the best free breakfasts I've had in quite some time. Coffee was not only hot, but tasted very good - a rare find these days. The hot offerings changed daily and pretty much every dietary preference was covered in some fashion. the folks doing kitchen duty were obviously very dedicated to their jobs, and it showed. Round it all out with an indoor pool and fitness center as well as a small outdoor patio seating area, and you have a very good place to unwind after a long day of meetings or whatever it is that brings you to town. Overall a wonderful experience and I would absolutely use this location again if back in the area.

My concern is not that the hotel allows pets--it's the lack of cleanliness throughout the property. I am staying in Room 209, and upon arrival, the floors had not been swept, and there was hair throughout the bathroom. The entire second floor has a strong odor of dog urine and feces. Even more concerning, I observed what appeared to be pet urine and feces in the common areas, extending from the dining area through the lobby and hallways. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel. If my room were not prepaid, I would be checking out immediately and booking a room at a Marriott property. I will also be sharing this experience on multiple hotel review sites because travelers deserve to know the conditions before booking. I do want to make it clear that this review is not a reflection of the front desk associate, Ale. She was professional, kind, and very accommodating. When I requested a broom and room spray because of the condition of my room, she happily provided both, and I returned them shortly afterward. The fitness room was basic but clean, and it was much better than trying to run outside. The location is a little odd-it's right next to an RV factory? but it was convenient enough for our tournament. The biggest highlight was definitely the breakfast. It was phenomenal and had one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. That alone helped make up for the cramped room. Overall, if you're in town for sports or just need a comfortable place to stay, it's a solid choice.

The property conveyed a first impression of being recently renovated within the last couple of years, while having a good amount of parking throughout. The property is located adjacent to a Mason Lodge and up a slight hill, of which I found these surroundings to be super quiet. No issues with the room-slept like a rock, even on the weekend! The furnishings seemed to be new. One thing that I was highly impressed with was of the coffee machine at the front desk, which was a great investment by the owners since it seems to deliver high quality coffee. Certainly an easy 45-minute drive back and forth to Lancaster prior to departing. Will certainly return!
