I've used a few different escrow companies over the years for both residential and commercial property sales and purchases and not all were good experiences. I was selling another property and just wasn't comfortable with the escrow company being suggested, especially after seeing their reviews on Yelp and Google. I was ready to fall back on one of the three escrow companies I have previously used, but was also surprised to find that their recent reviews were no longer impressing me, so I searched for a new escrow company and came across Lighthouse. There were lots of excellent real customer reviews, and they had a legitimate webpage that estimated my fees, a list of people working there with their bios, and the company felt very professional compared to the others. I was impressed that not only did somebody answer the phone, but they were also able to answer all my questions. After a few phone calls with Lighthouse, I requested them to be the new escrow company and the realtor and buyer both agreed. I can say without any doubts that my experiences with Danylle Hallahan at Lighthouse Escrow and her team were outstanding and exceeded anything I've experienced through several other escrow companies I've used. All the fees were clearly laid out before me, and there were no hidden fees. The best part was their communication. They immediately sent me a timetable informing me of when specific things in this process are supposed to happen along with their contacts incase I had any questions. Everybody was kept in the loop during the entire process, and if I had any questions, Danylle always answered her phone or got back to me shortly with answers. Danylle and everybody at Lighthouse was very professional, very helpful, very thorough and very timely throughout this entire process. I'll definitely use them again and highly recommend them as a trusted and professional escrow company.

Mary Marinko is my favorite officer there, but the whole entire company from the owner to the front desk staff is truly 5-star. I would go so far as to say if the agent on the other side wants to use a different company, I'm going to do my best to get them to give Concord a try because it really is going to make a huge difference in the smoothness of the transaction. Not only do they turn things around quickly, but they are always anticipating every little hiccup and making all the parties aware before the hiccup becomes a full blown issue. I'm not sure if that comes from their years of experience - of seeing every kind of weird thing that can cause escrows to delay or derail - or if it's more of the personalities that make up this exceptional team of professionals - an amazing balance of genius brains, attention to detail, and calm levelheadedness in the face of time pressure and emotionally charged situations. But whatever it is, I'm telling you every time I've introduced my clients or colleagues to Concord, I end up looking like a genius myself. No transaction is without its curve balls, but with Concord to anticipate and creatively solve issues, keeping everyone breathing with a sense of humor and focused on our ultimate goals, and their work ethic that gives you the feeling they are personally vested in the success of each transaction enough to go above and beyond when necessary, I always have happy clients when all is said and done. Please do yourself a favor and choose Mary at Concord any time you get the chance!

Just found out that our house deed was incorrectly filled out. Claire who is the senior escrow officer who helped us, did not explain how we could be impacted by our selection. Considering that she is the subject matter expert with these, I would've appreciated and expected her to help ensure that this form was being completed accurately in our best interest. This is an important document that I feel like she dropped the ball with education and ensuring that we were taken care of. Very disappointed and hoping that they rectify this.. Because this is my first home, everything was confusing and difficult to understand. Not only that, but I needed to have the escrow done within a very short period of time, and that is AFTER looking for a home. Because of Hanh, Steven, and Mindy, I was able to go through all of my paperwork quickly, have them answer all of my questions, and navigate through the escrow process in a very simple manner. The loan process was smooth (Steven did all of the work getting me the best rate), the escrow process was smooth (Hanh did all of the work talking to the different partners in Escrow), and in the end, I finally did get a home. Thank you so much. I would encourage anyone looking for a home to come here.

RE: Sunny Sage Lane…read more I bought a home from this company in 2020. After moving in, I experienced recurring light flickering throughout the whole home. Some electrical outlets are not working. This real estate company/seller claimed that this is a brand new home but i believe this home was rented out prior to me purchasing it. I can see touch up paint, touch up grout and mouldings throughout the entire home . I believe this touch up was done prior to placing it on the market and when the renter's lease contracts were up. The agents told me it's a brand new home but failed to disclose that it was rented out prior. I believe I felt was misrepresented. In the real estate law , misrepresentation is an illegal practice. Anyways, I didn't know the electrical wiring was an issue until later when I read some articles that it might cause a fire in the home if there's any loose electrical wiring etc. I know it's been years since then but I had to leave this review in detail to let all readers /potential buyers know that safety is priority. That all buyers should be more aware of this issue before making a brand new purchase. I believe the seller/sellers agent did a poor job for not disclosing information about the electrical issue. In addition, they failed to have a licensed electrician reinspect the property for safety precautions before selling it to the buyer especially after the renters moved out of this property. They also faileed to disclose that this property is not brand new and that there were renters living at this residence. This company and builder should be investigated immediately by the authorities such as DRE/BRE for failing to disclose and misrepresentation.
