IF **JENNIFER VASQUEZ** IS YOUR ESCROW OFFICER, FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Or have your realtor choose a different escrow office. 1) I brought in my paperwork to clarify some points on the documents to insure completeness. Jennifer started out in a negative manner. Considering this is my first home sale and the largest transaction ever, I was hoping for someone more helpful. I asked for the estimates charges and never received them. She was curt and terse. I should have asked for a different rep at that point. 2) I specifically asked Jennifer to call me after the monies were wired to my account. Her response was "that is not our normal process". That being said, I would like the reassurance that the transaction was completed. JENNIFER NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH. 3) Home sale closed on Monday. No monies. I called and left messages. My banker called and left messages. Jennifer couldn't be bothered with an email or phone call. "WERE MY FUNDS WIRED TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT" and "WHY WON'T SHE CALL ME BACK". Tuesday at 3pm comes and goes. No response. I call Angela, the owner, who immediately takes my name, phone & email and looks into the issue. She was able to send a confirmation that the funds had been wired at 3pm. Angela also explained the 24 hour delay, along with providing the final charges sheet. She does this everyday - this is part of the client consultation service that would have been nice to experience with my escrow officer. WHY WAS MY ESCROW OFFICER NOT ABLE TO DO THAT. 4) Jennifer flat out lied - she called my husband's phone to let me know the monies had been wired. She said she couldn't find my phone number. Hmm. It was on the voice mails I left. One the documentation I provided. It was in my signature block on my emails. JENNIFER HID FROM THE ISSUE OF CONTACTING ME AND LIED ABOUT NOT HAVING MY CONTACT INFORMATION. The only positive portion of this experience was speaking with Angela.
