My arepa was okay, but it really needed something. No cheese, no butter, no sauce, not even hogao. The shredded beef was dry, the chicharrón was chewy, and the chorizo was decent. It took about 10 minutes for somebody to greet us and seat us. We ordered the trio of empanadas, which is one chicken, one cheese and one beef. We asked if we could substitute chicken and no beef and we were told not a problem. 15 minutes after the order was given to the server, she came back and advised us the restaurant had no chicken. This was at the beginning of dinner service not at the end of the night. I then proceeded to order the grouper sandwich and asked for extra tartar sauce. When the grouper sandwich came out was advised that they were out of tartar sauce. After the third bite of the grouper sandwich, it was so disgusting I could not eat anymore. Since the server was not very attentive by the time, someone came over to check on us we had decided we would just get the check and leave. Not sure what happened to this restaurant that had been so great a year ago, but if you don't have chicken at the beginning of dinner service and you can't afford tartar sauce, something is obviously wrong with your business.
