The ambience is spot on with its cool colorful lighting, fun displays of art, chill vibe and great selection of beer, cocktails and mocktails. It's got something for everyone. They also had live music and if you are hungry there is a taco food cart just outside. You can bring the food in but they don't serve their own food, just drinks. The service was fine, and they give great recommendations if you need help deciding on a drink. One more thing, they do charge 3% extra to use a credit card so cash would be best. The 3% is what credit companies charge so it's just passed along. Lots of small two people tables but they do have at least one large table. Parking is street parking but the adjacent neighborhood had lots of parking. read more

Very nice neighborhood bar with friendly service, and a quaint, rustic appearance. I came here to see a band, and was very happy with the larger-than-expected selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Service was very friendly and helpful. Particularly noteworthy was the employee asking if I wanted to tip the band on my tab! I've been to probably 50 different venues across the PNW specifically to see bands, and Havalina is the ONLY establishment to offer this. Seating is varied (different types of chairs and tables). What an odd little place. It's a full bar and they have live music and a bunch of toddlers playing under the "no minors" sign.

The bartender was really nice and he was quick to get the drinks, it wasn't too busy on a Sunday even with karaoke. The cocktails on the menu were all really good everyone in my group were all happy. I wanted to try the sandwiches but a lot of the sandwiches were crossed out but I tried the kale Caesar with turkey and it was great. Prices are reasonable! The other people in my group got the tacos from the food truck and they had a little bit of a wait since it's just one person cooking the food and we had a big group so that's understandable, great neighborhood bar, loved the murals and the patio, it was still a nice night so we hung out outside and listened to the people singing karaoke inside. It's nice to have a good cocktail bar in the neighborhood. My friends live a short walk away from here so I hope we are able to visit more often. I really loved the mocktail options as well, I'm happy there are flavorful options for everyone to be involved. I really enjoyed the havalina iced coffee, I think that was my favorite drink on the menu. read more
