I have been on the hunt for a new salon since moving to the Shreveport area to no avail; lots of trial and disappointment from various shops but I've found what I'm looking for with Vince at Haute Nails. The shop is clean with a friendly/welcoming atmosphere, where you can truly relax as you get your nails done. Earlier in the day I was done dirty by another shop in the area and Vince was able to transform their trainwreck of an acrylic set into something I'd be more than happy to live with for the next two weeks. I went here to get a pedicure and had a great experience. I called ahead to check if there were busy, and it was not busy when I got there like they said. The inside of the place is not too aesthetically pleasing. It was too bad of a sight, but it wasn't what I typical see in a nail salon. The floors were still concrete and undone, which was weird. The lady that did my pedicure was very good. When I get a pedicure I always like that they scrape the thick skin on the bottom of your foot, and that was included. The lady was nice and started a conversation with me. I was very happy with my pedicure and the nail polish is still on a week later and looks brand new! Overall, I am happy with the service but think the interior design needed some work and the service was a little expensive. 35 bucks for a basic pedicure is a lot in my experience. read more

Haute Nails is my go to nail salon. They are very professional and have a keen attention to detail. They that your hands and feet as if they were their own. I went in on a Friday afternoon, had not wait. I got the dip powder. I requested a two color design and the technician did it with no problem but it looked weird on my sort nails. She showed it to me and said we had try something else! I loved that she took pride in her work and didn't want me leaving looking a hot mess. She then took her time and gave me a new color. I hate it when I have to write a bad review but I don't know how this place stays in business. Every person there is extremely rude and acts like you are burdening them by being there. Plus, it is aesthetically a mess! Definitely not a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. To think they charge the same as the professional spots do is absurd. My experiences with this place were not good at all. This is how it went. I called the day of my prom just to make sure they were open and to ask how much a full set of French nails would be and the guy told me $25. I go in and half way through he comes up and tells me it's going to be $30! I think he could have told me That beforehand. The next time I went to get my nails done (I wasn't too put off with the previous price change) I was expecting the price to still be $30 but ohhhhh no. $35!! I think they just make up prices as soon as you walk in. I will not be visiting again. read more

First of all, 35$ for a gel manicure..... (I was paying $27 in New Orleans). This would not deter me, except for the exceptionally horrible service I just received. Where to even start. My nails are now misshapen (and I came in with perfectly square nails from my prior manicure). There is polish on my fingers. The skin around my nails isn't cleaned up at all. And then she had the nerve to tell me that my nails look horrible because I bite my nails too much. (It could have been way worse, so I was confused why she even said that to begin with, BUT even so- why would you ever say that to a customer?!!? I almost walked out right then.) I won't be going back here and I also won't be recommending this place to anyone in the area. read more

I would not recommend this place. My manicure and pedicure was okay at best. The customer service on the other hand was terrible. When I asked the manicurist to clip my nails she said no and that most people like their nails long. She also asked me why I came there instead of the place I usually go. i came here the first time i ever got my nails done and it was great. i got exactly what i wanted, they were super cute, and i had fun while i was there. i came in today for the second time to get them done and the woman that was doing my nails was super rude and judgmental. i like my nails really long and she got really weird about it so i tried getting them shorter and then i couldn't figure out a length and she snapped at me. two stars for the nice lady that did my nails the first time, none for the other. read more

I have been to Haute nails several times and had very positive experiences with the exception of my last visit. I took my 2 and half year old with me for the first time to have her nails and feet done. Everything seemed ok, my daughter sat there so great and was very cooperative, so I don't understand why the lady was rude. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could add it to this review. My daughter is almost 3, I didn't expect perfection. It was for fun. The girl moved on to her next customer and one of the other workers sitting beside my child saw my child mess up a finger nail and when she informed the worker that did her mani and pedi, her response was, "I don't care." She was rude the entire time, but she vocalized her rudeness. Needless to say, I will never step foot back into the place. Very unappreciated, very unprofessional, and there is too much competition in that field for them to be rude to their customers. read more
