Well she removed the gel paint and wanted me to have a manicure which I didn't have time to have today. As I was leaving she said I had to pay. When I informed her that I had been asked to return to have it removed she said it would be free if I would have a manicure at the same time. She said it cost $ 10/- and then charged me 11.50. I realized only when I reached home about this. Looks like she added a tip to her charge. To me this is very unethical behavior and surely not good for her business. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere and tell my friends about it too

I been going there every month since she first started off as a nail tech. I have watched her craft and seen what she could do. For her to be self taught I have never seen her fail in the nail business. She's always greeting people with a smile and she treats her customers like family. I been in nail shops where people just want customers for the money whether or not they give good service. But not at TheNailYaNista Beauty Studio. Once you come in she sits you down and she'll have you feel comfortable as if you're at home. She'll ask if there is anything you'd like to watch on tv upon your request, there are refreshments out for you as well. She'll sit down and have a whole convo with you as if y'all been besties for years. You'll mess around and have a therapy session that you didn't know you needed lol. She makes you feel so comfortable and accepted and makes you feel like family. She's a Christian woman so she'll have her Gospel music playing around and it makes me feel blessed. One time her mother came in and cleaned the whole salon from top to bottom for her, not because she was asked, but because she's a mother who truly loves her child . Her mother came in one time and just asked to pray over this young lady and she did . It was a heartfelt moment and sometimes her clients calls CJ's mom "mama" as well because that's what she makes you feel like. And she'll call you "her baby" in return. CJ is a true definition of an entrepreneur. She has her own beauty products from foot scrub, cuticle treatment, her press on nail kit doesn't even look like anything you buy from the store. it looks like I've gotten my nails freshly done from a pro!! She does everything! Hair, mani pedi, makeup, lashes etc. She's a quadruple threat ! She understands that sometimes times are hard and nothing is affordable anymore so to acknowledge that she sees and hears her customer's issues she always keep her clients happy by giving out deals on top of deals. She teaches her own nail classes at her salon for up and coming nail techs. she's been featured on Bronner Brothers to travel and speak to up and coming nail techs as well every year since before COvid. I'm not being bias at all but i have experienced horrible services from places before and every since I started going to CJ I have never been disappointed 100/10 I recommend !

So the nails that I wanted done could only be done by Timmie.. so I said I will wait until the older nail tech finishes. I was called when my turn came.
