One of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The variety and set up of the skeletons is mind blowing.

Not worth the price at all only one set up was good and that is the orphanage and things are…read moreoutrageous to buy 50 each person and stand an hour and a half in line for the 666 motel and it sucked. It's not scary it's just a lot of noise. Mainly banging on things and yelling in your face. Was told on the phone it would be 25.00 for 4 of us got up there and it was 50 per person. Ya rather not go again there are better ones out there

We went two years ago and had a blast. This year was an absolutely abysmal experience to the point…read moreof absurdity. Paid $160 to do three attractions for 4 of us (me, my gf, and her kids). They've never been and I promised it would be a blast. Got in line for the Orphan House at 7:30. Line was fairly short but still took us 20 minutes. Problem is they were only letting a single party through at a time, so if you only had two people, that was it. Next party even if it was two people, had to wait 3-5 minutes before being let in instead of just letting them go together. Not a big deal if the line is relatively short but one can see how this will snowball very quickly. On top of it, they introduced "speed passes" for $8 a pop exacerbating the wait for the rest. Idea is like a Disney fast pass but they don't have the experience at line control to handle it well Anyway, was fun, we were all giggling after getting out. Made our way to Psycho Swamp and got in line a few minutes after 8:00. We were about 6 feet beyond the "45-60 min" wait sign. And it was moving at a SNAIL PACE. All the while the "speed pass" line kept moving while us peons were left literally standing. We did not get to the front of the line until 10:15. TWO F'ING HOURS! We would have waited longer but a nice group in the speed pass line let us go with them. It was after 10:30 by the time we were done and the third attraction, the Motel had an even LONGER line. I didn't see the wait sign but at best estimate it would have been another 2 hour wait at least. It would have been well after midnight when we were done, and absolutely no time to do a fourth had we bought a Pick 4. And with two young kids we could not stay any longer. An absolutely miserable experience. And the cherry on top of this glorious night....no refunds. So all told, we spent $160 to stand in line for 2 and half hours and 30 minutes of "fun". Two stars because the actors were great and sets were done really well.

I have to admit she was right after blinding myself with one of them. So don't bring an LED light. Try to bring red flashlight, non led instead. Otherwise, light on phone is good in a pinch. You really don't need a light unless you're going into lower floors after sun has gone down. ...anyway, despite the fact there were 25 people or so wandering the building, there are plenty of opportunities to be alone with your group or by yourself to do the hunting or trying to connect with the spirits. The only sketch room was psych ward for me..a small, very dark room in the basement. I did see my first shadow person in a hallway bolt across into a room where the door was closed. Not scary really. I ran after it to confirm it wasn't a human and where it had gone off to. Think it was on the second floor by Roy's room and across from the kids' classroom set up. Overall, advice is to go with neutral expectations and enjoy/ appreciate the significance and history of the building. I really didn't sense any negative energy except for that little room ..even in the morgue. Check in is a process, but not disorganized. Bring a clear bag. Use the porta potty outside before going in. It's a beautiful area.. even saw deer on the property right below on of the sunrooms. Oh and make sure everyone in your party, including ticket buyer registers their information via email link once Tix are bought.. I wish this place, the energies there, and owner the best!

Ooof...where to begin. I will begin by saying that my husband (62) & I (58) booked a 3 hour…read moreparanormal ~ 48 hours ahead of time...kind of a spur of the moment thing. Paid our money & tickets downloaded to the trusty Apple wallet. Almost exactly 24 hours ahead, I received this text (spelling/grammar mistakes are not mine): "Hi Lisa - this is Rolling Hills Asylum. Apoligizes for texting so late. I had an issue printing tomorrows guest list - can you please confirm the number of tickets you purchased and for which option (6hr or 3hr). Thank you!" I responded with "2 tickets for the 3 hour". I received a response asking me to have each of us fill out our own registration form (with our own different emails/cell phone numbers), which we did. We both fully read the registration form - full of really vague rules - but we completed it. No other communication from anyone at Rolling Hills came to either of our email accounts. We arrived exactly 30 minutes before our scheduled check-in time. We waited in a short line and met another group (of 3) who had a similar texting experience as us the night before. The staff came out exactly 15 minutes before entry time...and this woman (who we would later learn is the owner Sharon) walks up to me...yelling and pointing her finger at me, saying "you can't bring that backpack in...I sent emails". I checked the website beforehand, which states that all bags will be searched, but never states that bags are not allowed. I never received any email, but I put my backpack back in the car just to keep the peace. My husband loves his video camera & "techy" stuff, so he double-checked that he could video inside, even though their website states that video cameras are allowed. Sharon responded "yes", so he headed back to the car to grab his gear. We got back in line, only to have Sharon tell us to move to the back of the line, as she "needed to speak to us". She told us that our video camera "looked like a professional setup" and that if we wanted to use it, we would have to book a PRIVATE tour. The video camera in question is one that our uses regularly...yes, he has an infrared 'thing' that he puts on the top of it so he can film our ghost hunts...and yes, he has a chest harness for it since he has a bad back and carrying it for multiple hours hurts his back. I will be honest...as my husband walked the video camera back to the car, I questioned Sharon. The website says we can video. She told us we could video. Apparently, since our video camera is nicer than hers, we couldn't video. I pushed her & stated that we had agreed (per her multiple release forms) not to post anything on any of the big social media sites. She countered with "the camera looks like those that the You-Tubers use"...our camera does not have livestreaming capabilities, and I offered to show her. She did offer us a refund, but I figured that we had driven almost 5 hours & paid for a hotel room...I said we wanted the ghost hunt they advertised on their website. Hubby came back from dropping the camera back at the car, and she asked him to empty his pockets. She literally made him pat down all of his pockets..."I think there's something in your front pocket"...truly made me want to be inappropriate, but I did refrain. (SHOCK: When he pulled the fabric liner out of his pockets, they were empty). She was not to be deterred...she then took his flashlight. Yup, a flashlight. She said it was "too bright"...but nothing on the website about handheld flashlights...just headlamps, which we did not have. We watched her take prescription inhalers & ChapStick from another guest...the paranoid control was crazy. We met several groups during our tour that had the same flashlight (right down to the same brand) as my husband. When we asked how they "snuck" it in, they were really quick to say they were frequent returning guests and they get special "perks or consideration". Our tour was scheduled from 8-11pm. We left at 10:15pm...no video camera...no flashlights...no ability to record/verify what we were seeing and experiencing...time to leave. My husband & I have been very blessed to have been able to have many paranormal adventures for almost a decade...we live close to Gettysburg, PA, and having so much history & "active" places to check out within a few hours/overnight drive, we have had so many amazing & welcoming experiences. Unfortunately, this was not anything close to those. We will never return to this place, and I will continue to tell anyone I meet to give this place a HARD PASS.

We skipped one year and when we went back this year, it was like a whole new terrifying experience. This place is set in the middle of the woods and all you hear when you're coming down the road are chainsaws, screams, a train horn, and more screaming! I highly recommend Frightmare Farms overall the other places and if you can swing it, the VIP is worthwhile during the peak hours otherwise the wait can be a little long in the cold.

This haunt for the area is good but what made the experience so bad were the wait times... Wish they were like other haunts that sell only so many tickets for time slots. Spent more time waiting than the actual haunt. While they sell VIP tickets they are considerable more. Would have also gone earlier to ensure time to throughly enjoy the experience. My other big thing was they really are not equipped or able to handle handicapped patrons. Not enough handicapped parking and no formal process to help patrons get from parking lot at the bottom of a hill to entrance. I am recovering from a fracture and this was difficult and had I known probably would not have done this haunt. Hayride line was insane and getting on off ride was difficult at best. I have gone to some pretty amazing haunts so my bar was set high but this was not one of them....
