I have watched laser tag establishments come and go over the years. So often, they start off as a big hit and then fade into obsolescence. Not Laserton. These guys have figured out how to keep the activity interesting with top quality equipment, a variety of games, and a well-designed game play area. We visited Laserton on a Monday night and had a blast playing the free for all game and the zombie game. Both games were challenging, fun, and interesting. Even my wife (who is not into "shoot 'em up" games) had fun and was a top scorer in one of the rounds. We ended the evening with eight scoops of gelato (The Flight) for the four of us. The Flight only cost $8, a great value. A Groupon deal brought us into Laserton and, if we find ourselves in Rochester once again, I would love to come back.

Started going a few times a month with a group of friends. Its defiantly exciting and fun, I wouldn't do it a few times a week but 2 times a month works perfectly. We ended up getting the gold cards, even though we only go twice a month its still cheaper for food, beverages including cocktails and beer, and you get 15 minutes of free arcade play. Let's not forget you also get a truffle coin, and two games a day included with the gold card. The arena's are pretty fun if you're not a tall person. The arena to the left is not really equipped for tall people seen how there are to many low tunnels you have to duck under if you're upstairs. The arena to the right is my favorite. Countless ways to go that dont leave you at a dead end like the other one. More ramps to take to get upstairs and just seems like there is more room in that one. I love the other game arena they have as well. You're on a go kart kind of thing with a scoop and wiffle ball. Have to get to the other side of the court to throw the ball in the net. The food and beverages are priced really high, like I said before thats why we got the gold cards. the taste and quality is really well for being arcade food. The bar is lovely as well. They have many items to choose from. The staff was all in all pretty good. The reffs are extremely friendly. The girl at the food counter seemed to have had a bad day. Kept yelling how she needed a day off. Kept complaining when a customer would approach her. Made terrible facial expressions when asked something. Other then her, great staff!

Lasertron is awesome. It is targeted toward adults for fun. Recently attended an event here and the staff that we encountered were all beyond amazing, kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to answer our questions. The laser tag is pretty cool. Compared to LaserQuest, it is more costly, longer games, physical arena seems slightly smaller. Lasertron is very large and has several seating areas and a sizable bar. There are tv's everywhere and any game that you can imagine is likely playing on a screen here. Food prices are a little high considering the sheer number of restaurants in the area, but chances are that if people are playing here, then they are likely going to dine here too. We sampled a variety of foods. Among the best were the green bean fries. Can't wait to visit again and update my review.

I cannot say enough about Lasertron. I love love love this place and everything it stands for. The arcade games are fun, the food is decent (I've had the wings and quesadillas), and the drinks are good. At first I was taken aback by the refusal of cash and gratuity but I've grown accustomed to it. Their drink menu is on a mini tablet, which is kind of fun to use. The bar area can get super packed on a Saturday night so come prepared to wait a few minutes for a drink. I would recommend Lasertron hiring some waitresses to visit the tables for drink orders to help with this process. The laser tag is soooooo much fun! I've played in the sports arena and it can get pretty intense. You may go in thinking, "oh, this is fun," but once the game starts it's game on and the competition is fierce. One thing I wasn't prepared for was the amount of sweat that I produced. Do not go in there with a sweater or you will hate yourself for the rest of the evening. My legs are a little sore too from the ducking and squatting. I do like that the security guard at the entrance tells families that children are allowed in the building until 9pm; however, this is not enforced. This place can get pretty packed with adults and having little children running around does not provide a safe environment. They should not be in the bar area either. Parents: take your kids home at 9pm, it's bedtime for them...seriously. Regardless, I'm a big fan of Lasertron and plan on going again in the near future.

    Ask the Community - Lasertron

Is this truly a MAINLY adult oriented place? There's another place similar that has arcades and kids run rampant with no supervision and alcohol allowed anywhere in the building.

Kids run wild all day. There are a couple adult only laser sessions later at night; although I'm not sure how well it is enforced.

    Are there ping pong tables?

Hello Stephen. LASERTRON in Henrietta does not have ping pong tables. We do have several games in our arcade as well as 2 LASERTRON Arenas, 2 Cyber Sport Courts, a full sports bar, restaurant, and party seating.

If you've never tried axe throwing, make this the first place you go! Now, on to the details. My husband and I got here first, and to our dismay, the door to the building was locked. A quick phone call to the owner fixed this, however, as he came out forthwith to let us in. If yo have this problem, don't worry. They appreciate your business and won't leave you waiting that close to a cemetery. This space is pleasantly surprising. It's loud when you first walk in (because axes), but you get used to the noise quickly. There are 3 lanes and we reserved the middle one. Once our friends arrived, another owner came over and explained the rules of axe throwing in general and they game you can play. I learned a few things, including how terrible I am at axe throwing! The two people on duty (who I believe are the co-owners) were SO friendly and accommodating. One of the reservations didn't go through, so they allowed us to stay later than the end time and play another game. This prompted my husband to whisper "give them a good review." Like I wasn't going to already! This place is a hidden gem in Batavia. Run, don't walk, to place a reservation and get a bang for your buck! They even let us bring a pizza in, for crying out loud! Have fun and tell them the awkward blonde girl from Yelp sent you!

My friends and I were looking for something fun and a little bit different to do so we decided to try out axe throwing at BATL. It was a great night! After arriving and getting set up we were taught the basics by our wonderful instructor Averi who helped us out and got us all throwing fairly accurately after a couple of practice rounds. Once we were all hitting the boards Averi set us up for a small tournament (group of 6). We started with head to head matches in a round robin and then had elimination rounds to finally crown a champion (me lol). It was tons of fun the whole way though. BATL has 8 lanes an can accommodate any size group. Our group of 6 was on 2 lanes and I believe any group over 12 gets 4 lanes. They also have a small bar with drinks and snacks to keep you fueled up while the axes are flying. The staff at BATL is amazing. Our instructor Averi was super fun and very helpful. She took the time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing and was just really fun to hang out with between rounds. Everyone else from BATL was very helpful and accommodating as well. It was nice to see people who really enjoyed their work and they made the mood there something special. We will definitely be back again. This place is a keeper for sure.

It's not just the staff (though, the staff are all great, especially Averi), the other members are all amazing too. She's also been welcomed by everyone as part of the BATL family, and as dangerous as axe throwing sounds, it's one of the places I feel safest with my daughter, and letting her hang out with other people. Definitely check this place out. Even if you only go for a night and don't join a league, I promise that you'll have an amazing time and feel like part of the BATL family by the time you leave. If you join a league though, join Sunday!

Maybe we just hit it on an off night unsure. I signed up for the tactical package (knifes, shovel and axes) only because a friend convinced me to register for a skill game called So Have I Thrown That Yet where you throw a shovel, hatch and big axe from a chair. I knew big axe from a chair wasn't going to happen but I've never thrown a shovel so figured it be an opportunity to practice at least one of the skills. I was upfront about not caring about throwing a knife but mention the need to learn how to throw a shovel due to signing up for a tournament where I'd be throwing one. They asked if it was there tournament I was registered for which I informed them no, than they didn't not proceed to give me any information about there tournament which personally I found a little odd. I just mentioned I was practicing for a tournament, clearly I throw semi-competitively you think that would have been an excellent opportunity to recruit more people. I asked the dates of their tournament and then on my way out saw a flyer so I grabbed one. There shovel had no handle the instructor mention that I might be throwing one with but here they don't have them, which was fine I just didn't want to go into the skill completely clueless on how to throw the thing. It was also mention there not much skill to throwing it but I found that there was some skill. I also got my axes approved to be throw, except the big axe they said there ceiling were too low. Understandable didn't have high hopes for big axe practice. Brought my non axe throwing husband with me who gave it a go by mostly just watched cause it not totally his thing although he did say he'd go back and like the place, he thought they had good music and it was chill which I do agree it was really chill. I tried to chat a little with the workers/league member who was in another lane but they didn't seem too interested in socializing outside of themselves. I've been to a lot of axe venues and normally everyone is super social so this stuck me a little odd personally, but again maybe it was just an off night. No one was unfriendly they just didn't seem to want to socialize outside there group and missed an opportunity to promote not only a tournament but also their league. This place was the closest time wise on Google to my house but like by 1 minutes so I think I'll try the other venue see if I get a better vibe there because it might be nice to get back into throwing regularly.
